Psellia (also known as The Dreamer) is an Air Faerie which doesn’t come down to Neopia often, preferring to spend her time in the clouds. Instead, she sends messages below through her Harris, giving them little gifts to bestow to those worthy of her attention.

Not much is known about Psellia who aided Meridell during their war against the forces of Lord Kass, whose efforts whisked away the dark clouds and let the sun shine through on the knights of Meridell as they attacked Darigan Citadel. While she isn't widely known around Neopia, Psellia is popular in Altador, being one of Altador's 12 heroes.

Psellia managed to grab Jeran as he fell from Darigan Citadel in a similar fashion of her deed that earned her the position of one of the heroes of Altador, saving him and allowing him to recover and fight another day.

Altador Plot

Psellia is one of the 12 founders of Altador, a fact discovered during the Altador Plot. Her constellation is The Dreamer.

On March 28, 2006, a group of clouds on the top right corner of the Altador map were clickable. Once there, clicking on one of the gaps in the clouds would reveal a pattern. After visiting the Archivist, players could head to the Observatory to find The Dreamer. The gems above Psellia's statue now glow and her chapter is added to the Book of Ages.

Though she lacks the worldwide fame of other Neopian faeries, Psellia is well known and revered for her kindness in Altador. She always does her best to encourage others to achieve and is always there to catch them if they stumble in their lives. A rather inspirational figure, Psellia is known throughout Altador as "the Dreamer."

One day, long before the founding of Altador, Psellia was relaxing on the clouds of Faerieland when a Blumaroo bounced too close to the edge of a cloud and slipped off. Psellia watched in horror as the Blumaroo plunged toward the sea far below.

She knew the poor creature would not survive the fall, so she leapt off the cloud and darted downward, fluttering her wings as fast as they could go.

The turbulent sea grew closer and closer, and Psellia could see the Blumaroo's terrified eyes as he desperately flailed his arms toward her. Though her muscles burned with the effort of flying faster than she ever had, the air faerie was determined to catch the falling Neopet before it was too late.

Using the last of her strength, Psellia let loose an amazing burst of speed that only an air faerie could manage and grasped the Blumaroo's outstretched hand. With his paw firmly in her grip, Psellia tried to slow their fall, straining at the air until they landed in the ocean with an almost delicate splash. With the last of her energy, Psellia swam to a nearby shore, dragging the Blumaroo safely onto dry land, where they could recover.

This heroic tale spread quickly, and soon thereafter Altador requested that Psellia join him in forming the Kingdom of Altador.

• As of September 2006, Psellia is featured in 6 different items: 1 Collectable Card, 2 Trading Cards, one Brightvale Potion, 1 Faerie Weapon, and 1 Toy, which is a doll of Psellia, released in the Toy Shop on May 31, 2006.
• Psellia's Gallery of Heroes article was added on October 25, 2004.
• On August 30, 2007, Psellia was featured in Better Than You on the game Faerie Bubbles with a score of 2370. Reward was a Sword of the Air Faerie Stamp. Quoted saying...

Oh my, I hear the air faerie bubbles in this game are just a terror, hehe. We do have very strong magic you know. If you are able to defeat my score and prove yourself capable of handling it, I'll give you a gift...
