I would assume that Yoshi has too much on his hands in so little time. For the record though, I'm not Yoshi (or am I?)

Is Yoshi a Robot?

Well the last time I poked him, he was squishy so I suppose he isn't.

No, he's a cute little green dinosaur from Yoshi Island that has a thing for eating everything and shooting eggs.
