A Maraquan Blumaroo, Meerca, and Korbat
This article is about the colour. For the underwater kingdom, please see Maraqua.

Maraquan is one of the many colours that users can paint their Neopets and Petpets. The Maraquan colour is closely associated with the underwater kindgom of Maraqua. Maraquan pets resemble underwater creatures, both real and mythological.

The Maraquan colour for Neopets was released on June 17, 2003. Users can change the colour of their Neopets to Maraquan by using a Maraquan Paint Brush item at the Rainbow Pool. In addition, the Lab Ray also has a random chance of turning the colour of a user's Neopet to Maraquan. Users also have the choice of changing their Neopet's colour to Maraquan when they complete a Fountain Faerie Quest. Lastly, a Neopet's colour can be changed to Maraquan by using an appropriate Morphing Potion.

The Maraquan colour for Petpets was released on April 21, 2004, Petpets can be painted Maraquan by using the Maraquan Petpet Paint Brush item at the Petpet Puddle. In addition, the Petpet Lab Ray also has a random chance of turning the colour of a user's Petpet to Maraquan.

Trivia

  • Because of their odd body shapes, Maraquan Neopets cannot wear many of the items for Neopet Customisation. The exception to this rule is the Maraquan Mynci, because its body shape is so similar to the regular Mynci's that it can wear clothing.
