Battledome News!

This week, Neopia was met with the arrival of the Secret Ninja Training School, a school for the training of only the most elite of Neopian. The school itself is only enterable if your pet is above level 250, training through the school is strictly done by the pricey Red Codestones, meaning even when you're allowed in, your pocket book will have a nice hole burnt through it.
The Training School also contains a Mini-shop, where one use items may be purchased every half our, these weapons are incredibly powerful, a one use full-heal item, the Jade Elixir and the Extract of Plum are among some of the valued weapons now available to the elitist of Neopia.
In addition, another 100% freezer has been added to the batch of weapons already available to Neopians. The Lenny Ray Gun fully freezes any enemy for a whole, round. Lenny owners are cheering at this new fact. However, as with all freezers, this weapon does not come cheap. At best, speculation can be made over the new freezers as being a vehicle to slow down the continually increasing price of the classic, H4000 Helmet. Many felt that after the first battle for Meridell, the price would fall, however, they were wrong. The price continued to increase until hitting a record 5 million NP per helmet. Many people were pretty happy about this, since the H4000 Helmet was once a measly 540 NP. those smart so-and-so’s are probably rolling in the cash now, eh? =P
Another new weapon hit the market as well, Illusens Silver Shield, it has the ability to fully block on Earth icons, meaning many people have been forced into re-evaluating their sets as to whether the common weapon, Honey Potion, is really as good as it gets. The only upside to facing this weapon is that with it's rarity, it wont be too common.
In addition, the Brightvale robes have all been activated and many Neopians were shocked to hear that they rely on two stats many of us thought would never be activated--Intelligence and Speed. Each robe uses different levels of either ability to allow for certain bonuses. Whether it's freezing, healing or stealing, these weapons have added a whole new dimension to the Battledome.
With the arrival of these new pieces of armor, many Neopians are wondering just what is the fastest way to make your pet smarter? Simple--BOOKS! Read as many as you can to your pet. Some books give 1-2 Intelligence points each time. Remember though, particular books with the same number of characters as your pet's name cannot be read by your pets!
Good luck with the dome and have fun! See you next issue!
