'''Captain Scarblade''' is a [[Green]] [[Lupe]] and the self-proclaimed ruler of the [[wikipedia:Seven Seas|five seas]] of [[Neopia]], along with his crew of pirates on their ship, ''[[The Revenge]]''. He is the main antagonist of the [[Curse of Maraqua]] [[plot]]. Scarblade has intense rivalries with many pirates, including the famed [[Captain Cruciblack]].

[[Captain Dread]] attacked the Old Maraqua when they wouldn't pay him a tax. Scarblade started a new attack a few years later against New Maraqua when he learned the Maraquans survived. Scarblade and his pirates lost, but escaped when their attack failed. During the war, players could either side with him and the pirates and help destroy [[Maraqua]] or side with the Maraquans and try to stop him. He was the war boss for the Neopets who sided with the Maraquans.
