I think it's very convenient you and Rox both tried a last second ressurection etc etc. I didn't even ask Light to show up. In any case I was planning to use Haures to defeat Yoshi myself, when I could've ressurected Roy or something (who Light killed btw).

How can you even complain when for the majority of the game it has effectively been Me vs You/Roxas/Byakuya? (+- individual taste differences).

Story as of now:

In a newsroom, a newsman is at his desk.
Keith O: And now... Ominous music starts playing. today's Worst Person in the World! The award goes to real scum. They beat up an innocent, young lady. She was eliminated brutally and indiscriminately. Taken down in her prime. You make me sick. The person who defeated Aerith, you are today's Worst Person in the World!
Keith goes back to the papers on his desk. A person in a bowtie comes over and whispers something to Keith.
Keith O: We have breaking news coming from the field.

On the field. Samus is firing volleys at the other competitors.
Samus: Come on.... I want a repeat...
An arrow imbeds itself in Samus' shoulder armor.
Fran: Not so fast, you dirty Shisno.
Fran starts firing arrows at everyone. Samus shoots the arrows from the air. Nanoha gets Raising Heart in shooting mode and starts firing back. Roxas blasts Fran with a spell. He runs over to insult her, but Nanoha blasts him in retaliation.
Nanoha: Kite-kun!
Nanoha runs through the field to Kite's side. Yuno uses a spell to protect them as she takes them to safety. An explosion comes too close to Aerith and knocks her out. There are two cries from the side. A large motorbike charges onto the field. Cloud makes a beeline to Aerith, with the GM riding on the back.
GM: We'll save you, Aerith! I have enough to get you a a Phoenix Down!
The pair get to the fallen Aerith and use the magic item on her. Cloud gives her a hug and helps her up. A chocobo rides up.
Reno: Sorry, sir. As much as I would love to allow this...
GM: You have two choices if you finish that rule: one, you can be fired; or two, Cloud is allowed to Ultimate War God you until the next competition.
Reno: Thinks really hard. I'll take the beating.
GM, Cloud: You're a good man.
Cloud drags Reno off the field to deliver his payment. Roxas sneaks up to hit Fran, but a large glow appears behind him.
Roxas: What?
Nanoha: Starlight Breaker ex!
Roxas: Oh no.
A massive energy attack shoots from Raising Heart and blasts Roxas back to Twilight Town.
Nanoha: Sighs. I feel better now.
Nanoha goes over the sidelines and collapses to rest. She sits next to Kite. He is holding his wound but takes a moment to comfort her.
Nanoha: Kite-kun, dai su...
Nanoha falls asleep. Samus and Fran are left alone on the field. Both have fully-charged shots primed and aimed at each other.
Samus: So... It is down to the two of us.
Fran: The winds are in my favor.
Both release their shots at the same time. The massive charge shot is split by Fran's arrow and flies straight at Samus' face. She blocks the arrow with her arm cannon. The cannon starts shorting out. Samus hits a button and her armor drops away. Samus gets out her Paralyzer and transforms it into a whip.
Samus: Bring it.
Samus and Fran rush each other and start exchanging martial arts moves. Samus swings a wide roundhouse kick that Fran barely dodges. She counters with a kick towards Samus but gets her heel cut off by Samus' whip. Fran counters by kicking the Paralyzer away then checking Samus in the gut. Both back off a few steps. They notice the Paralyzer. Both dive for the weapon. A cloud of dust surrounds them as they fight for the weapon. When the cloud settles, the Paralyzer is being held to one of the fighters' head.
Fran: Game over.
Samus backs down as he GM returns to the center of the field. Rufus arrives shortly afterward with the trophy.
GM: Congratulations! You're our new champion! That makes it a hat trick for SE. Good going.
The GM stands on a box and raises Fran's arm up high while she accepts the trophy.

0500/1700 Rule: Regardless of when the last update occurred, you may make actions after 5AM/PM your time zone. There is no need to wait for an update to make an action, but it is recommended. Any actions that break this rule will not count as a legal action and will be promptly (eventually) pointed out. If you miss one of the posting periods, you will not get an extra move. I will allow posts +5 minutes in so you don’t have to rush your action.
