Melinda should have won. Blake is okay, but he's no better than his beatboxing gimmick. Jordin isn't all that bad, but Melinda could outsing her with a mouthful of marbles.

Jordin deserved it- she is an amazing singer.
Melinda should very well have been in the final two and/or the winner though.
The finale last night was extremely boring though, almost none of the musical acts were that good.
Oh, and...

Meh. Predictable. I like Jordin and all, but this season was extremely underwhelming because everyone was so boring.
The finale was disappointing. Kelly did a great job with Sgt. Pepper's, and Carrie was good too. Way too much filler (Watching the bad auditions again was amusing though), and it went over time again. Also, I'm tired of the same old generic songs about wishes, dreams, and hopes. A Moment Like This was the best original song, IMO.

Oh come on, Hil. Do I Make You Proud was obviously the best song. I mean, look:

Ellen DeGeneres.
I somewhat agree with Ammer about Melinda. She definitely has the talent but she isn't as commercial as say...Jordin or Blake.
I sort of liked Do I Make You Proud too. One of the worst original songs was "My Destiny" from last year. Eww.
