The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

Due to attempting to fix an internet connection and being put on hold for customer service for 45 minutes, I missed Veronica Mars. :( That's the first episode I missed since the S2 premiere...
Can anyone recap for me?

Sure!
Logan finds out that his accountant has been skimming off the top of his trust fund. Veronica investigates and follows a really long trail of fake businesses to Charlie Stone, Logan's long-lost half-brother. Yeah. Logan calls Charlie and arranges a meeting. When he shows up, he and Logan seem to hit it off. Logan tells him all sorts of deep, dark family secrets. Problem: this ain't actually Charlie. Charlie didn't want to go public about being Aaron Echolls' secret illegitimate son. Understandable. However, the guy who was pretending to be Charlie was a reporter trying to get a story. Logan goes on Larry King and outs Charlie as Aaron's son. Unfortunately, Charlie didn't know about the reporter--the reporter had tapped Charlie's phone. Logan makes another phone call to the real Charlie.
At the same time, Keith is <s>having a Just Shoot Me cast reunion with Laura San Giacomo</s> investigating for a woman who thinks her husband is cheating. She winds up growing rather fond of Keith, and I assume she'll be this season's love interest for him. Yay!
Meanwhile, the Pi Sigs fall under even more suspicion. They send our good friend Smurf Casablancas to hire Veronica. (They do not merit the friends-of-friends rate.) She accepts, mainly because it'll help with her own investigation.
The Greek Chorus of Feminist Shame is rather irate about this. Veronica points out to Parker that she's been in a similar situation, but she doesn't seem to care. Veronica proves that Claire, the latest victim, was with a guy who wasn't in the frat that night. The GCoFS is still pretty mad, but Veronica just wants them to let her find out the truth.

Thanks for that! Sounds awesome, and slightly better than the episode before (with all the Veronica/Logan snooping business). If I find a rerun, I'll definitely watch.

*randomly pops in*
Okay, this is kinda random, but is Veronica Mars pretty good? I haven't watched it yet but I might start because apparently the creator (Rob Thomas) is an Austinite and there's been a lot of references to Austin in the show.

I don't know about the references, but YES, it's a great show. Season 1 is the best so far though, so start with that.

It's pretty easy to jump in this season--we're only a couple of episodes away from starting a new mystery. Come, join us!

I missed the Halloween episode, who wants to recap what I missed?

Do you still need a recap of that episode, PTP? I'll do it later if you need it.
However...how was it
both of my suspects? I kept debating between the two, and had mostly ruled Mercer out. Man, that was a great conclusion. Best. Mystery. Ever. Okay, maybe it's second to Lilly.
So, who do you think killed the dean?
