((That's okay. We're going to leave now anyway))

The storm send hail and rain, not to mention lots of wind, down upon the Ranch. But it was well prepared for storms, as this was all Ganon could do harm the people, the ancient magic and determination of the good people within made sure his evil couldn't reign within. After a few hours the storm passed, Anjiel stood up from her place beneath the tree and brushed herself off. Elily had been sitting on one of the trees branches, she giggled and jumped off onto the wet soil.

Anjiel brushed all the horses down and saddled them all carefully, Elily helped her but it still took some time to finish. When all the horses were saddled Malon emerged from the ranch house, carrying many supplies, including blankets, food, water and a few spare items (including deku nuts, bottles and some small fairies within some bottles). Anjiel hugged her mother, she then slung her backpack onto her back, still making sure she could use her sword and bow. Then she climbed onto Kolomar's back and trotted over to Elily.

Elily carefully put on her light pack, she then looked at the number of horses and the number of people. "Anjiel, I think you've made a mistake, there aren't enough horses." Anjiel smiled and held her hand out to Elily, "You can ride on Kolomar with me Kokiri child, it'll lower the amount of horses we have to take with us." Elily grabbed onto Anjiel's hand and climbed up behind her. Anjiel then lead Kolomar towards the others, "Mount your horses friends, and don't forget your packs, we must leave immediately."

The goron arived int he pouring rain. The storm was intense and the winds howled, battering his unprotected form. Staggering to the front gate he lifted his fist and banged on it loudly.

"Sanctuary!" he cried, "Sanctuary!"

(sorry, I couldn't resist! )

((This is set when Glyr arrived, before my previous post. The storm just ends after he gets in the ranch :P ))

Malon rushed to the gate, her hair was tangled from the winds and her dress was drenched. She carefully pulled it open, fighting against the winds strength and bowed to the very large Goron who entered. She used all of her strength to push the gate shut and walked towards when Anjiel and the others were waiting. The storm began to die down and Malon went into the ranch house quickly to grab all the supplies.

((The other post goes here, when Malon brings food, they prepare to ride, etc))

Anjiel lead Kolomar towards the entrance of the ranch, then she noticed a large Goron standing near the ranch house. Kaepora suddenly whooshed out of the sky, landing on a wobbling branch of a small tree near the ranch house door. "You are all here now, and you must all leave immediately. Your first destination is Lake Hylia, it will take a few days to get there. I will explain more once you arrive." Then, as quickly as he arrived, Kaepora left, flying off into the sky.

Anjiel looked at Kaepora as he left, then shook her head chuckling, "That owl is so mysterious, but he knows what we must do and I trust him." She turned back to the Goron, "Welcome friend. We have quite a mixture of races in our group, and I am its temporary leader, Anjiel. My mother, who let you in, is Malon, the owner of this ranch. We must leave quickly, else Kaepora will be mad we made him wait."

Maya neared Storm quietly, standing near by for a second or two, wondering what to do. When given instructions, she nodded in silent agreement, and got on the Horse at a medium sized pace, hoping not to startle her. Unfortunately, she decided to get on just as the Goron arrived.

The banging on the door caused Storm to rear. If Maya had already been on, she would most likely had been fine, however she was not. She was thrown into the mud.

She looked up, blinking. "Sorry, my fault." Was all she said before attempting to mount Storm once again. This time she succeeded... and just in time too, as she noticed the Owl. However, Storm seemed to take little notice of it, if any at all.

Maya listened to his words, however, she was not startled too much by them. She had seen Spirits who babbled much more than this, and from what Anjiel had said, this was not babbling.

Elily checked all her things in her pack yet again. Aurora sighed.

'That's the third time you're rechecking. Let's not get too paranoid or overexcited, shall we?'

Elily blushed a little. 'I just...want to make sure I haven't forgotten anything.'

'Well, you haven't, so cool it.'

[Stalling for time.]

Albardo trudged on, slowly making his way towards Lon Lon Ranch. The weather seemed to be taking a drastic turn for the worse, Arkam was lolling around groggily, but still awake nonetheless. The powerful Goron's arms lifted him up on one shoulder and concentrated on making his way to a place where he could stay, if only for a while.

"Malon..." the Goron muttered, as he blinked rain water from his eyes, "Then... is this the legendary LonLon Ranch? The last safe haven of Hyrule?" looking to the sky where the giant owl had flown off he asked, "And what did he mean 'all of us are here'? Were... were you waiting for me?"

Mon Nov 29, 2004 6:59 pm

(( IM BACK YOU GUYS!!!! my account got disabled one day while I was editing my profile and I couldn't get it back (still cant...) so I will be using this (slightly newish) account until when/if yukio disides to re-enable it!! sorry it took so long for me to get back... time to continue woohoo lol)
Nunaamr'e grabbed the pommel of the saddle and swung himself onto dewdrop, and reigned him around, waiting for the others.

Mon Nov 29, 2004 9:41 pm

Albardo's pace slowly began to hasten, quickly ascending to a sprint. His giant feet thudded loudly against the ground, the flask around Arkam's neck swinging dangerously on its cord. The unconcious Hylian's poor head bobbed around in ever direction, while the Goron's strong arms held on as tightly as he could, lest his patient and dear friend fall off. However, this would not go on for long. Already Albardo was beginning to get tired, panting for air more and more with each footfall. With a last burst of energy he flung his arm forward, a fist that found itself pounding on Lon Lon Ranch's gate, hoping for hospitality

((That's okay Nunammr'e, I'm just glad you're able to post))

Anjiel nodded at the Goron, "Yes friend, this is Lon Lon Ranch, the last safe haven of Hyrule. And my mother and I will make sure it always stays strong against Ganon, offering hospitality to anyone who needs it." Her attention was quickly drawn to the gate, which was being pounded rather heavily. She carefully lead Kolomar towards it and opened it, another Goron, carrying a Hylian in his arms, was standing there, looking rather tired and out of breath.

Anjiel gasped and pulled Kolomar's reins back so the Goron could pass, Malon emerged from the ranch house and ran towards the two once she spotted them. Pulling two Red Potions from her skirt pocket she lead them in to sit under a tree and handed the Goron a potion. She then carefully poured the other potion down the Hylian's throat.

Anjiel turned back to the other Goron, "Seems we have more company. I guess Kaepora was right, we really are to begin some sort of quest. He didn't, and still hasn't told us much, only that we were to wait for some 'others' and to prepare whilst waiting. We must head to Lake Hylia, as soon as our two new companions are feeling well enough."
