I don't see a reason to hate them for being over-played. Most radio stations play mostly what is being requested, so the things that are being played so often that you can't stand them are actually being requested by usually quite a few people. Unless you have satelite radio, I have no clue how that works.

Moving on...

I've been a fan of them since their first video "Harder to Breathe" I've also liked all of the other songs they've come out with. While I don't have their CD, I will probably get it when I have the money. Their songs aren't highly vulgar like most other music today and I don't see them falling like Jamira-whatever (not even gonig to try to spell it)... hopefully >.>

Quietly,like, my dad would've got annoyed, y'see, my Discman is knackered and the new one is even more knackered so I had to use the CD player from the hall but that one has no volume control so I had to steal my mum's yellow one which she stole from me but then she did give it me in the first....I'll be quiet.

No, most radio stations play what they're paid to play. Only occasionaly will they play what someone requests. Have you ever tried to get a radio station to play a song by a lesser known band? I (and others) have. It takes a lot of constant emailing, texting etc to get it done. (see this site, forum may cause offense to some). How it works is (roughly):

• Radio Station gets a promo copy of almost every album released by a major label.
• Record label pays radio station (as well as TV channels [for a different post sometime]) to play certain songs, by certain artists. These get played alot. (like Busted, McFly etc)
• Only on special request events does a lesser know band get a remote chance of being played.

So, its not really down to afew people calling in, its down to the artists record label paying for the promotion.
