The Real Negg Faerie is what a Yurble who featured in the Festival of Neggs in 2012 called himself. Kari the Negg Faerie refused to train him as her apprentice because he wasn't a faerie, so he decided to strap on some pretend wings and "prove who Neopia's greatest Negg enthusiast really is".

By buying a Handy Negg Enlarger with Neocash, he enlarged the mini Neggs the player had found to award for Neocash wearable prizes.

Kari gave him real wings in the Advent Calendar in 2012.

• The Real Negg Faerie took over the New Features page on 14 April 2012, which was nominated for the Best News Day Neopie in the Fifth Annual Neopies.
• One of the Handy Negg Enlarger prizes was a wearable pair of wings like The Real Negg Faerie's - Yurble Negg Faerie Wings. A similar item, Real Negg Faerie Wings, were given out in the Advent Calendar. The Neopets Team decided these were too similar and change the second pair of wings to Homemade Lavender Faerie Wings.
