Vela Binal is an Island Lenny and the substitute Centre Defender for the Mystery Island Yooyuball team of 2007. Vela Binal was called on to replace Maital Koric, who was brought down in the match with Meridell's team on June 19 match. Despite Vela's inexperience, Koric was taken out of play for the rest of the tournament, and the Lenny took his place. Vela is a fast defender, and excels at tackling and stealing the ball, yet lacks scoring ability.
