The Babaa is a sheep-like Petpet that is easily scared and will hide under your Neopet's bed when surprised.

In the game Neopets Puzzle Adventure, a Babaa can be used to place a single token on the board before a battle begins. This token cannot be placed next to an existing token.
It is likely that the Babaa's name is simply a repetition of the onomatopoeia for sheep bleating, baa.
