Auction's gone crazy!

Its gone totaly crazy! for me anyhow! :?

I placed a bid of 121k on an item. Got a neomail saying i won, go one saying the item had been lost and the np had been refunded to me, then another and another... i now have 400k on hand and the item i bid on....

help! ahhhh! im so scared!!!

I wouldn't spend any of it. It's best to send in the bug report ASAP and see what they make of it. If a good chunk of time goes by with no reply..You've just made yourself quite the sum of NP, my friend.

I was on the site for awhile, lurking on the boards. This has been happening to other people too. The auctions are kind of a mess, so don't use them yet.

Some people are bidding, winning and getting all their np back and the item they bid on. Others aren't getting their np back, and some people who have put an item in auction aren't getting the np for the item, even though someone bid and won.

I do like that you can't "bank" anymore, that should be a big help with the nasty auction scammers. But apparently, the auctions aren't working quite the way they're supposed to yet.

Yeah, auctions have their problems. I got this Neomail after trying to bid for a 20k or so piece of the Lab.

Oops! This is a mail to tell you that Auction ID # 8448 (Secret Laboratory Map), which you bid on, has vanished! Somehow the item disappeared from the site before the auction could be resolved. Your bid of %price NP has been refunded. Sorry

Only one bid? When I started bidding, it was already at the 20k range.

As for the whole bug report thing, I've heard of people who were frozen for reporting a bug, so...yeah. I'm going to assume reporting would be better though, since those rumors about being frozen for reporting a bug have pretty much disappeared the last time I checked.

:shock: Gah! As much as free np sounds appealling, I can't say I envy you. I ran into a cheeseroller glitch last fall, and although I didn't get frozen, I spent a week fretting I would be. I reported the bug, I don't know if that helped me. I ended up making about 100k off of the first encounter with the glitch, and I didn't abuse it after I discovered it.

after taketing screenies of every neomail and every stage of the auction itself, as that went wrong to wish it saying i had not placed any bids, I sent in a bug report. I hope that will be good enough to show i didnt do anything wrong.

But what is starting to worry me is the fact that 2 weeks ago i came on to find an extra 100k in my shop till for no reason at all as there was no stock in there. Never heard anything back from that either :?

Even though you've filed a bug report, remember it takes them weeks to deal with anything so put the money away and do not spend it. Skullsplitter from here got extra money when he took some out of the bank, filed a bug report, waited a bit, spent it - blam, frozen

So it would be safe for me to put them in the bank, just as long as there is always 400k in there which was what i got extra??

i think you should keep it on hand, report it, then maybe take a break from neo for the day. If they see you using any NP for the day you may be in trouble
