Re: WW36: Battle for Middle-Earth Game Thread

Wed Nov 12, 2008 7:46 pm

A cloaked person walked out of the forest, and cast their vote for Ammer.

Event, Day 13
Regan was returning from the Grey Havens, where she had hidden away last night to avoid the horrible attacks on her, when suddenly, a tall grotesque figure jumped out from behind a tree, wielding an ugly sword. Before she could even run, the sword swung, beheading her.

Result:
Regan was beheaded. She was
Arwen, the beautiful daughter of Elrond who protected those she cared about.

DM, isn't it proof enough that you admitted to being on a team?

There are non-evil teams as well.

Ok. For the sake of argument, which team would that be?

But Wind is a sibling. Wouldn't she know if DM was on her team? And usually, the Siblings don't have spokespeople... do they? ;D

Hm, I don't know. It is possible that a sibling team would have a spokesperson.

You also said for the sake of argument! :P

Anyways, for siblings, I don't really see the point of a spokesperson, as usually spokespeople are only needed when there is a daily list. After all, that person may be the one who was killed, and so they'd have to choose a different person anyways. I thought it was just a mutual decision of any remaining siblings of who to target.

Yeah, I was thinking of Siblings when I posted that. That's the only example that comes to my mind, and being a Sibling myself I thought it unlikely that there were two Sibling teams around :P

I don't know if I've ever really seen siblings be on a team, with a spokesperson, and separate from the innocent.

Execution, Day 13

There was a great deal of excitement on Weathertop this evening. In fact, it seemed that almost everyone was in agreement on two different people to execute. It was no surprise that Ammer was being put forth again, but the votes on DM seemed to have come out of nowhere, perplexing both Nienna and Varda.
The crowd shoved both of them over towards the rock that had been the spot for executing individuals for the last few nights. Neither Ammer nor DM looked particularly happy to be there.
Varda lined up a single arrow, causing most of the crowd to be puzzled. In fact, they were quite confused to see that she didn't appear to be aiming for either of the executees. Before anyone could question her, she loosed the arrow, which landed smack dab in between them, burrowing into the rock. Ammer started to laugh, and DM looked confused, when the rock suddenly burst into light, completely engulfing both of them. When the light disappeared, there was nothing left - no rock, no DM, and no Ammer.
DM seemed to have left a package behind amongst her belongings.

Result:
DM was executed. She was
Gothmog, the rather deformed Orc second in command to the Witch King.
Ammer was executed. He was
Saruman, the corrupted White Wizard.

Night 13 begins.
