Event, Day 5

No one was in Helm's Deep, so it wasn't particularly hard for a small force of people to approach it and leave a huge barrel at the culvert. They got a reasonable distance away, at which point one person turned and aimed a tall white staff at the spot and murmured. Fire barreled out of the end of the staff and headed towards the culvert. The group turned and continued to sprint away. A few seconds later, a large explosion shook the ground as the wall of Helm's Deep blew. Once at a safe distance, the group turned and looked back at their work with satisfaction.

The wall of Helm's Deep was blown up. Any special effects the location had are now nullified.

I'm happy to answer the question in private, (provided my internet connection holds up long enough, it's taking me a long time to post and such) but if I answer it in public - then I'll be giving away my role, which I'm not inclined to do. The Pixa thing was a co-incidence, and if you track me again tonight, that should become apparent.

ckillor, there was no majority on Mongrel at the time you didn't vote. And in a double execution situation, it's always better to try and get a lock.

[edit] Yay! My connection held up, so I've been able to reply to people. Sorry about making you wait, my ISP isn't so great sometimes.

Event 2, Day 5

One individual stood on the Mark, calling out orders. Riders were dispatched in all directions, taking off with all due haste. Each one sought out a specific individual, speaking briefly with them, and then bringing them back to the Mark, where they gathered, bolstering their numbers and improving their strength.

The Rohirrim have been mustered!

Event 3, Day 5

While on her way to Moria, Mongrel was enjoying a walk through the Old Forest. Suddenly, a short person jumped down from a tree, a well-tempered short sword in hand. With a cry, the person attacked. Mongrel, while still somewhat shocked, managed to dodge the brunt of the attack, though the sword drew blood from her arm as she darted out of the way. By the time the attacker turned to come back, she had a weapon in hand, ready to defend herself. Instead of fighting, the attacker turned and fled, leaving the injured Mongrel to tend to her own wounds.

Result:
Mongrel was attacked by a short person with a short sword. She survived.

I had contacted Malibu before she was tracked. She's given me a plausible explanation for her targeting of Pixa, so I'm refraining from voting for her until we get more confirmation.

FYI: Today's my heavy class day, so I probably won't be able to respond on-thread or to PM's until around execution time (I'm writing this in my behavioral epidemiology lab!).
