Whether it be a puzzle or a war, this is the place to be for all your plot related needs.

I see why they made it an annual thing... They can keep us busy for more than a month without having to do much work for it. At least the plots provide some variation, here it's just the same game over and over again...
Does anybody know what kind of prizes there were last time? I kinda wonder if it's really worth it

Well the old Prize page isnt up anymore (Already checked) But I remember haunted wood paint brush (They won) and youthingys.
Aswell as Youthingball equipment as battle dome stuff.

Finally got a few games in for RI
To people who have gone 'ack, it's harder now!' remember that there is a little variation in how each team moves. Some teams are faster than others, some seem to have snappier reactions when you change direction quickly to avoid them. Try again tomorrow, and the day after, and see if the next team you're playing is any easier.
I don't much like the supporter games. Make Some Noise had my blood pressure going

after a single play, so no more of that for me. Slushie Slinger - what does it remind me of? Sponsor games. There are a couple of them that have been that EXACT format, just with different Neopets and food items. Both games felt to me as if they had each been programmed in a couple of hours using code that was already knocking around. SS is fun enough though.
Knowing TNT, I'd guess they want to have a look at people's comparative scores at the three games (like they do before releasing plot prizes) before turning that into a rank on our shield.

The prizes I have from last year are a Yooyuball Field (gardening) and an Altador Cup Kreludor Keyring. Keep in mind I'm not the greatest Yooyuball athlete.

Well, I honestly tried to give the main game another chance. Y'all's hints helped, but I still suck at the game, I still hate the controls, still hate the erratic motion of the characters, still hate how the ball travels fast when the OTHER team passes it, but crawls when mine does. I just. don't. get it. Thank goodness they provided alternative games this year.
Thanks for the help and suggestions, though. I actually did manage to win one game (out of who knows how many I played) and tied a couple, and I don't think I would've been able to do that on my own.
Looks like I'll be slinging slushies and cheering my lungs out for the remainder of the Cup.

Don't give up! Even lost games count, and it is possible to improve with practice.

You've read the hints in the sticky, right? If you're still having trouble with your mouse cursor, maybe it might help to change it in Windows to something really bright and obvious so that you always know exactly where it is even when you're looking at your players. I wish there was some way to video a successful game for those who are struggling.
In other news, a user made a petpage with all of last year's prizes listed, here:
http://www.neopets.com/~cobrawll#prizes . The top prizes were semi-cool dual-duty Battledome weapons, followed by the PB and the Yooyu petpet. Hopefully they won't give away the exact same items this year - maybe a Darigan Yooyu instead, for starters. Fraid I can't see them creating a whole new paintbrush specially for the winning world if one doesn't exist already.

I stink at this game. I could never score a goal last time around, and I'm no better this time. I just can't seem to get the hang of it, no matter how many tips and tricks I follow.
Bullocks.

Is there any info about the point breakdown this year? Just from last year, i know i'm going to be playing the other two games more and i was wondering what are my chances of racking up a decent amount of points.
Tue Jun 05, 2007 11:28 pm

Tue Jun 05, 2007 11:38 pm
