And all the new mods will be old and senile, so they'll have to have more apps two seconds later.

Jeez, you're so wrong. 8th month of the year? ZORGUST!

But thanks for leaving us with july. That was sweet

July will be known as "Ju must worship TDG or ju will be shot shortly"

No, you guys have it all wrong. The months should be renamed as follows:

January = Winter 4
February = Winter 5
March = Winter 6
April = Winter 7
May = Spring 1
June = Spring 2
July = Summer 1
August = Summer 2
September = Fall 1
October = Winter 1
November = Winter 2
December = Winter 3

At least, that's how it works where I live.

I'm trying to figure out why October is Winter 1, when Winter doesn't officially start until December 21st.

You guys are all lucky. The Scottish Year consists of one long, continuous Winter, except for a few days in July where we can go outside without fear of catching hypothermia, and tht's just because of Global Warming. So remember to waste energy for all the wee Scottish babies out there who have milksicles.

But to be honest - the celts are built only for cold weather... any hot stuff and we shrivel up like a heap of overheated over-ripened cabbages.

Maybe that's just me. <.< >.>

Officially, yes. I consider it winter as soon as it really starts getting cold, just as I only consider it spring when it really starts getting warm...and spring didn't come till the end of May this year. *shudders* Even for Boston, that's ridiculous. What about global warming?

Thu Nov 16, 2006 9:03 pm

Spring isn't over until June 21st for a reason. And it's not Global warming, it's Global Climate Change. Big difference. And it's hard to define every single region and area into 4 specific climatic periods (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) because every region is specifically different and follows different patterns.

How far does arguing about the weather set the announcements back?

*Steals your weather* I want winter to start. It was really nice out today, except for the fact that it was SEPTEMBER weather! It's November! It's supposed to be COLD! :cry:

Will any of those winters be nuclear by chance? Because if they are, I should start stocking up on radiation suits now and make a killing (no pun intended) when all hell breaks loose...
