Tarla's Warehouse Giveaway (Split 1)

Fri Aug 18, 2006 11:06 pm

It takes the skills of being alert and lucky to grab soemthing from the warehouse.

But first you'll need the toolbar: http://toolbar.neopets.com/

When something happens, that alert button will turn red. And you better click it as soon as you can to grab the goodies, cause Tarla's giveaway doesn't last long.

This is the one and only place to talk about the happenings.

Mine turns yellow (red would be better, actually), from an icy blue. But I can't believe I finally hit it fast enought to get something: a mastercannon plushie (like the others who recently posted).

Until TNT actually takes steps to help us Firefox users: I think most of us also have the PPT forums open whenever they are playing: just keep checking the general chat, and when something is posted in the topic... I got my Plushie today on complete luck. *knocks on wood* It wasn't flashing, I wasn't checking the forums, and I just randomly clicked. Lucky. *knocks again*

Isn't the price the same for everybody? And it's a Cannonmaster Plushie - not a Mastercannon Plushie. ;)

I hope TNT sticks with the schedule of only giving one type of item away a day. I'm worried that I'll click on one alert and get a stamp, and the next hour she'll be giving away a paintbrush like she did the first day.

When this first started, did she have the rule of one prize a day?

So it doesn't work right in Firefox? Is that why I've only seen it blinking yellow with the alert "Tarla has left the building" but never with a prize?

The cannonmaster is pirate themed right? If s, whats the price of one? I have a pirate themed gallery, which is why I asked.

The lowest price I could find on the SW was 2.8K (and one for 600 that was nabbed before my eyes). This seemed to be very different a couple of hours ago. I think we ought to check the pricing graph on NeoItems in a couple of days.

The fortunate thing is now that they're started doing this, they're using cheaper items and those items released are also cheaper because of the sudden influx.

Still annoys me too much for me to say on here without getting in trouble how buggy and short the alert system is.

I've had IE open for a bi now, and every once in a while, I'll check the alert button.

Thanks. I think I'm gonna wait on getting one, just in case the prices go up.

Finally caught it blinking, but it just told me Tarla had left the building. Fingers crossed for next time she pops up...

But think of how many people DO get the prizes and how little they would be worth if everyone had them? they would be nothing more then the advent calender prizes. I think they should pick a random time every day to give something away on the toolbar. Just one time just one item.... that way a few people get something good yay prize but not total deflation of the value of it

Or they could choose something that isn't expensive or particularly valuable but still worthwhile to get.

I'd definently take a book over a plushie or a stamp. But you could argue worthwhileness with anyone.

I'm just looking forward to the Tarla avatar.

If everyone has something its not really worthwhile to get is it? I mean profitable in any way.

example it gives away a codestone EVERYONE gets a codestone... the likely hood of the training school needing it would most likely turn to null and it wouldnt be worth selling because it would be worth 1np suddenly just like all the junk the advent callender gives you.
