hi, i think kno y tnt hasnt closed the plot yet. we all think we completed it, but the ending we saw was a fake ending like in the ldp, so they cant close the plot since absolutely no 1 has found the real ending. so we need 2 get out there and find the real solution 2 the altador plot.

I had so much trouble with this plot it was unbelievable. IE did not like it aol hated it. Small things bugged me. But thanks to TNT for not closing it i have actually managed to complete it today.
I hope the prizes are nice as i went for the wrong prizes on the LDP and didnt make as much as i should have.
Anyway, thanks to all here at ppt (and everyone else) for the help

Usually when nobody is near finishing it, they give a small hint in the news, but you could still be right

In the Mystery Island Plot they said something like - "For those who need a clue: [a cryptic clue]" so I would think it'd be obvious this time, but who knows

It's been months since then, we would have at least heard something from them. Also, King Altador tells us to come back to the Council Chamber for prizes, so I'd assume we're done.
By the way, PLEASE don't type like that. No 1 wnts 2 try and raed taht.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is the plot still do-able right now? I didn't participate, but now I'm bored and I decided to follow the walkthrough just to see what all the hubbub was about. I can't click the "flat rock" in the quarry. Does this mean I'm too late?

I just started the plot too, but i got past that yesterday. But my spellbook room has no clickable books! I'm so confused...

You should be able to continue finishing the plot...
gahtzuah: Try tabbing around (if you haven't done already). If you end up with nothing, then go back and retry the steps. The most likely problem is you forgot to click on the darkest faeries fire-orbs (which many people have forgotten to do)

I'm honestly surprised the plot is still available to complete, given the board is now gone.

Well, if you're finished with the plot and go back to the Hall of Heroes, then ask to listen to the story of what happened again, a "choice of rewards" is still mentioned. But everything else that's happened since then seems to indicate there are no prizes coming out specifically for this mini-plot. Cup prizes have already been released, a new (mini?)plot's already starting, and there's been absolutely no more mention of the Altador mini-plot in the news. No closing, no status on prizes or score tabulation, nothing. I'm so confused, and honestly very annoyed.
If I had known that the plot prizes would take this long/wouldn't be available at all, I would have participated a little more in the Altador Cup. I didn't bother with it because I stunk at the game and never could get used to the controls no matter how much I practiced, and I thought that if I kept playing and losing, it would hurt whatever team I was on. So I honestly thought the best thing for me to do to "support" my team was not play. And I was okay with not getting any big cup prizes for not doing anything, because I'd completed the mini-plot and thought I'd have that to fall back on.
If it turns out that we don't get <i>anything</i> for completing the mini-plot, ever, for whatever reason...I might have to just quit for a while. Because when I start wanting to ram my fist through a wall over a stupid decision I made in a <i>game</i>, that's a good indication I'm taking the game way, waaaay too seriously.
....there, I actually feel better already.
(As a side note: Yes, I was around for the LDP, and I realize those prizes took over two months to come out after the plot was technically over. But 1) that plot was a much larger undertaking than this one was, and 2) there was a point when it actually <i>did</i> close and people were no longer able to start it.)

Nice rant. ^_^ If they won't even bother with plot prizes, I will be outraged. Sure I had plenty of points from the Cup (enough to buy a Yooyu at least) but this is the first plot I've ever done & completed (how stupid of me to not even check PPT back when the LDP was going on) and I want to be rewarded for it, gosh darnit! =p Your rant sorta mad me even more mad at TNT than I have been recently, Rakumel. Good job. ^_^
