I'm actually quite happy with this mini-plot. It's satisfying not to throw my life away to a plot. I tried to do the LDP, and gave up after about the 7th clue, when I was going back through the maze and accidentally clicked on the wrong door and had to wait an hour. I decided enough was enough. So it's nice to have a little puzzle that doesn't become all-consuming.

Also, to continue the dictionary discussion, as I am a nerd, according to the Oxford English Dictionary:

Colosseum: the name since medieval times of the Amphitheatrum Flavium, a vast amphitheatre in Rome, begun c.75 AD.
- ORIGIN from Latin, neuter of colosseus ‘gigantic’, from colossus

coliseum: a large theatre, cinema, or stadium: the London Coliseum.
- ORIGIN late 19th cent.: from medieval Latin, alteration of Latin colosseum

But like was mentioned earlier, it was most likely two different people who just picked two different spellings. Such be the life of a large company!

Well, seeing as they both seem to mean virtually the same thing, I don't think there's any difference. Personally, I prefer Colosseum, because coliseum looks a bit odd. But that might just be me.

Hi!

2 things to bring up.

1) If you tab through all the windows in the coloseum, the last tab after the seemingly last window/arch will place the link over one of the arches that have already been tabbed through, and then press enter, that will always bring you to the punch club.

2) There are 9 different combinations you can try out to unlock the code on the gold chalice. Mine happened to be 1, 1, 2 (left, left, middle), but you can stay in the punch club the whole time and try them out until you get it.

I don't really find it. I have searched the two words in that sentence that i didnt know and now i know them but it didnt help me find it. Help! By the way, I have found the stars that fits into gladiator sign. Is the way to find constellation what-ever-it-now-is-again-its-so-long-and-disturbing-to-spell discovered?

Nevermind. I just found it! And now I guess its a break in this, because there is nothing more that have been discovered?

May I suggest stickying this and the other altador thread? I know this one especially gets split a lot but if we're locking and creating threads anyway, well I am not a mod so I don't know how it works, but I have to imagine stickying is a one-click process that could be done [and undone] as you go?

Just an idea :)

Heh, yeah. o.0 I don't really believe it would be the Gatherer anyway. I myself downloaded the Flash file and decomplied it. The first shape(image) was the Thief image, then the Collector, then the Gladiator, Wave, Dancer, etc. Close to the end, starting at about Shape 96, there was the Gatherer, Protector, and Hunter. (ended at about shape 100) So, therefore, I believe the Collector will be released tonight. :)

EDIT: I don't have any proof for this claim of mine (;)) but when I'm not feeling lazy I think I'll make some screenies. 8)

The next person released should be the Gatherer, right?

Well she is holding(and surrounded) by petpets. Maybe the next link will be somewhere near the petpet shop in Altador.

 who knows.
