So... the big Question is why do some people get an effect and others do not when they place thier crystal?

i placed my crystal about 5:30pm NST, and got the colors

just so you know, the symbols on the back wall are exactly the same for me. but the colors are in a different order. i was thinking that maybe the color and the symbol matched up but i guess not

OK, I think we have to place the crystal, see the colors, and read scrolls with our Nuria symbol in that color sequence. Thoughts?

By the way, I found the Sakhmet City model room, placed my crystal, nothing happened. The crystal won't stick. When I refresh, it's gone. I had not, at that time, let my pet read any scrolls since the repository changed, but I had looked at my card catalog. I think the names of the 3 scrolls (the blue, the red, the yellow) that have our Nuria symbol are significant.

Just tossing out ideas...

Okay, new theory:

Once you place your crystal, you get a series of colored dots on the wall. In Yunamaxieboytanda's screenie, there are 12 colored dots and three empty spaces. That's 15 spots altogether... and there are 15 symbols on the far wall, see? Maybe he has to read the first symbol scroll in blue, the second in yellow, the third in blue, skip the fourth, read the fifth in blue... maybe.

Bah. Repository stuff annoys me.

I agree. I wish I could get the lights on.

Im going to read scrolls going by the colours that I got after placing the crystal to see what happens...

I would go by the colors and use the symbol of your statue.

Had you done anything else inside the repo. prior to placing the crystal?

nope, I was just looking at pics of the catalog room in the hope that something shot out at me...
Im just about to start reading all the colours relating to djo that I got when I placed the crystal... If anything happens I will post...

Found Anubis Toxicology Reports in the basement (BIG room all the way in the back upper left area).

Found Lost Desert Literature (biographies) on 4th Floor (not the top row of scrolls but the area under that on the left side of the room).

Sorry I don't have specif coords.

Hopefully that's sufficient.

Hate to sound dumb, but I'm one of the people who can't see the symbols. how exactly do you look at the source code for the page?

And my guess with the colors from the crystal is we need to read that color, that order in the list (if the first dot is yellow read the first yellow scroll etc.), using the card catalog to show us the symbol we're looking for.

I am currently trying to read the scroll with the same color and symbol on my faerie door.

any clue where the The Catacombs, Section Sand is?

I noted that it's "dark" outside the 1000 Tombs. Maybe we have to time it right there?

Could someone explain to me in simple words (Im hitting a mental roadblock) about how to get to the room to use the crystal. I went up to the 5th floor, secret stairs, down to the 4th, down to the 3rd and there I sit.....


EDIT: I got it, I just needed to wander around a bit more than I was. I found the room, I didnt realize it was in the basement. Thanks so much

edit: and I just tried placing my crystal again and it still won't give me the lights. For the people who have gotten the lights did you do anything other than go and click to put the crystal there?

There must be an order dependence in the reading of scrolls.

I have read all 36 scrolls ... and can't even see the lights.

there is a crack in the ceiling. Is there something that needs to be done to make the light shine through it?

If someone *just* placed the crystal now ... it isn't light out ... and they still saw the lights.

Something needs to be done to smash the crack open, I think.

I tried placing the crysa again and got nothing this time...6.32pm nst I hope this helps... Since the sun shines through and reflects the colours onto the wall Im thinking that outside the temple must be daytime...
