Regardless of TNT's plans or lack thereof for the plot now, they have obviously put a lot of work in it so far. I'd rather you left them alone. If you are tired of waiting around, play some games, step away from the computer, go watch some tv. If you have been reading the threads, you must have noticed new people started the plot as we go along. If more people get to take part in things and have fun because the rest of us had to wait, I'd wish that for them.

Just chill out. Things will happen as they happen. Complaining or talking bad about people will not rush anything. If I was a member of TNT and I read some of the things posted here, I'd stall more on purpose because of the unappreciative attitudes expressed.

Breathe in. Breathe out. It's all good.

I hear you. Very good point about people who are still working the plot and catching up on having to sift through these posts.

On the other hand, our idle banter, chit chat and yes, whining is just about all that is keeping this board active these days. It's another way to commisserate and pass the time. Perhaps we need to create a separate board for "idle" chatter.

:roflol: That last line just got me, I burst out laughing. Good points, I'm doing my best not to complain, one good thing lately is I've had lots of homework, so there hasn't been that much time to complain. For those mad at TNT and wanting to complain, here are some easy ways to vent anger.

School: I know many people hate it but it gives you something else to do. You also get to complain about something else.

TV: Watch a comedy on Disney Channel, or maybe an episode of CSI? TV is always a good way to calm down, even when your sad or angry. I find that my Phil of the Future Volume 1 helps a whole lot for all sorts of things.
*disclaimer* Do not think PotF Volume 1 will do your homework.

Sports: You play football? Tackle the dude twice as hard. Kicking a field goal? Well TNT's head is in the middle of the post. Sports help me a lot, if I'm playing with friends or in a league, they really always help.
*Disclaimer* Do not tackle anyone UNLESS they have the football and are on the OTHER team. In all other sports well, don't hit them, unless of course it's soccer then you trip 'em. ;)

Art: I like to draw to help vent stuff. My teacher steals my hat I draw something such as me getting her in a trap stuff with hungry alligators. Draw anything, I'll draw hills and the sky. Sculpting and any other form of art is just as good. Paint, sculpt, fill balloons with paint, stick em to a canvas and throw darts at them. Whatever you like or are good at, do.

Music: Listening or playing helps me. Either playing my trumpet or listening to Green Day or some other band I always calm down, unless of course I dance to the song.

I'll post more as I think of em so check back. :)

I agree. I still have 4 pieces of my tablet to fill and I was hoping to do it today, but I thought I had mapped the door as ok to pass, but then my pet had to read a scroll, so tomarrow I have at least 4 hours of work if i don't stall or accidnetally fall in a trap.

  I don't want to miss out on tha avatar and the rest of the plot. it wasn't my fault I didn't understand what I was doing until last week and I thought the tomb was a once per day activity.

So people please stop moaning for them to hurry up. I don't want the plot to be over fo at least three or more weeks. I want to catch up. I wish they didn't have to rush through the first part of the plot so stragglers or people like me who didn't get it right away could have a chance. I think they are moving it too fast.

Thu Oct 06, 2005 2:00 am

I agree totally. Esp with what TNT said in the editorial.

The faster you solve stuff, the better your prize in the end will be. Someone who completed their tablet ASAP will get more "points" than someone who has taken the last three weeks. Someone decoded the translation first will aslo get good stuff. But this way, those who werent so fast can still have fun doing the plot.

My guess is that we'll be moving furnature this weekend. Then wait another week and move scrolls =P

Good evening everyone! Still nothing?

I've been pointing and clicking so much, my eyes have gone wonky.

Okay. I'm not scared to post anymore. Domo, Jasujo.

I personally don't mind the wait, although it is fun to listen to an build upon everyone else.

Build upon what many others have said earlier, I found the wait is the best time to play Neopets games and do homework. Just with passive playing in the 'few' hours I'm online, I am averaging over 15k NP a day, just playing games I'm good at and not being good at any. On the homework count, I was actually shocked when (if some of you remember) to actually use the higher math I thought I'd never use outside the classroom. The 'waiting' was great to help me remember stuff I would have normally forgotten.

We'll all look back on this and laugh, especially since we'll have super expensive prizes for our good and speedy work.

Considering we're already on split 63, I don't think we really need help in that area. I know I, personally, like to come to this thread and see info and speculation on the plot. I'm getting really tired of all the doctored pictures, misleading "jokes," and complaining. I'd just stop reading the thread, but I don't want to miss anything important. I'm constantly seeing five new pages of posts, thinking something happened, and clicking on the thread only to see a bunch of people complaining, a bunch of other people telling them to stop being ungrateful, and a bunch more people posting "clever" photoshopped pictures. It's getting old.

It's another way to commisserate and pass the time. Perhaps we need to create a separate board for "idle" chatter.

It's got my vote! Mods, would it be possible for the people who want to post jokes and parodies to have a separate thread -- one I can stay out of? ;)

I've been a member of Neopets for 18 months and missed all those wars from then til now. I never ever realized any of that was going on.

Now that I know about it, and am now waiting for the plot to continue on (I missed out on the sand and block moving) I agree that they should get a move on with the plot.

Surely lots of people have aleady caught up so let's get a move on.

Thu Oct 06, 2005 3:29 am

The waiting might not be so bad if it wasn't for the fear that if you walk away from Neopets for 5 minutes, you might miss out in something vital.

I really hope I didn't give anyone the impression that I hate TNT or Neopets or even atomicblonde. Because I simply don't.

I'm also sorry that I voiced my opinion here. I should have known that voicing a negative opinion about TNT is not allowed here. So, sorry. Only positive things from now on from me. :D

TNT is great! TNT is wonderful! Long live the TNT! Image

Someone said they were making a list of people with their particular glyph so they'd have a "team" ready in case we have to work with others of the same glyph again. This is a good idea. Is anyone making a KAR list? That's my glyph.

My Neopets' username is SpaceElf1.

PS My signature may come out looking very weird in this post because I am trying to add a graphic, & I have never done such a thing before. Here goes:

Not a clue... was hoping to have some answers by the time I came back. lol I guess no one that reads the thread has gotten the challenger today. (That's the Qasalan Mummy challenger)

The reason I was asking is that I was contacted by a few players who have been refreshing for several hours (four to eight) and still haven't gotten it. I can't see them having "retired" it because it is a DoN challenger. So maybe a glitch? o_O

Acutally, that was a kar user making the post you refer to. Sorry, I don't know the username though.

Edit: Smilie where there shouldn't have been one. haha

Haha. How long have you been reading PPT? We're quite vocal with our displeasure, and our complaining often gets results (TNT people tend to lurk here... a lot). It's just that all the "it's taking so looooooong! TNT should meet their deadlines!" (and the countering "stop complaining and enjoy the plot!") has taken up the better part of the last few threads, and it's getting tired. I know I'm not the only one sick of reading it all.

No, I'm talking about the replies starting.......here.
