I really wish I'd mapped my temple and found my statue before this all started. But mapping sounded so boring.... (which is was).
Unless I get lucky with the statue room, I'm definately going to be behind (especially since I'm not sure how they'd react to my doing clues when I'm at work tomorrow...) So yeah, I'm also hoping that those of us who aren't going to be the front runners also get a trophy or an avatar or something for our pains. :-)
We'll have to see how it goes, but so far I do like this puzzle better than the Mystery Island... we can all work together, but because everyone has their own temple, etc. everyone has to do the work in order to finish. Hopefully the fighting (if there is any) will be as carefully thought-out.
So far all the clue doors have been in the 60-odd rooms I've mapped so far. Here's hoping.

Crud, I really should have been trying harder to map and find my room. I'm still at the beginning

It takes an hour - you'll be able to catch up pretty quickly.

It takes an hour between traps, as far as I can tell.
Apologies if someone has posted this before: It looks to me as if being buried in sand decreases your pet's mood: I was going to my quickref to swap pets off for fishing and was surprised that my normally-active pet was unhappy. (For that matter, maybe all traps do it.)
So if you've a fancily-painted pet as your active (hence, trapped) pet, it may be worth watching thier mood.

I have a Starry Poogle who is, right now, a pile of sand. She's content.
Though I don't know what she was before, so this may be less happy than she usually is.

why don't you just click a random trap door, wait an hour, go back again and start from the beginning, and try your hand at mapping? Otherwise you'll always find yourself wandering around aimlessly

We might have been right about the Neocola machine being using to get a parchment. Think about it, our seventh parchment was in the space station and we had to pull the lever of doom... what other HTML game is in space and filled with doom?
The NEOCOLA MACHINE!
This seems entirely plausible to me, however it could be the 19 tokens sitting in my SDB waiting to make me a pretty neo that influenced my theory... nah, that's not it.
Stock up people!

Yes, the tokens are speaking to me as well, slowly corrupting my normally genreous mind with thoughts of greed and delusions of grandure...
Or maybe I was just greedy to begin with... no that can't be it either.
Yup, them 21 tokens are definitelly talking to me.
