And who says it's a costume anyway? A lot of the halloween pets are in costumes, yeah (with some exceptions, like the lupe and cybunny -- whose beaten poses prove they're not just in costume), but ghosts are different -- their eyes are really red, and they glow all ghost-like. I haven't seen it written anywhere official that it's just a costume. In fact, in the "ghost neopets" section of the deserted fairground it says "with the aid of a Ghost Paint Brush you can turn your Neopet into a rather spooky spirit!"

Most of those ghosts look horrible anyway.. They're turquoise pets with a light blue aura that's almost non-existant (except the Techo).

I think the ghosts aren't supposed to look neither happy nor sad. Who says becoming a ghost would be allways a sad thing? Our Fellarae has allways been a very happy and handsome ghost acara

Yeah, but most of the newer ones have looked sad. I can't explain the lupe. My point was, anyway, that the koi looks way TOO happy with that big goofy grin on its face. If you go to neocolors you'll see that most people there are saying the same thing. It's more annoying on him than on the pets you posted because he looks super happy and goofy. I think he should at least look a little evil, like the Halloween and Pirate koi.

My baby lupe must've lost at least 5 teeth in the past 2 years thanks to her 0_o Poor thing.... I'd rather keep her teech than having the tooth faerie taking it away for 127 NPs :/
