Anyhow, I doubt that its gone forever... Its a great version, so they wouldn't ditch it... Probably just under beta-testing...

You mean Scarab Ring? yah, it is almost unbuyable now. :o

How good of a weapon is it?

Scarab ring, yeah thats what I meant :)

And it isn't equiptable yet... Atleast it wasn't yesterday.

Last of I heard of it was that it wasn't even activated yet.

oh...well in that case, lets hope for the sake of those buying it at the price it is now...that it isn't a 4 icon weapon. XP

I got sad when I saw that. I really liked it a lot, because you could actually scratch everything off yourself. It was great.
I hope it isn't gone for good. :(

I don't know what you guys are complaining about...

This could be one of two things.

1. Really good for us. Meaning they could turn into things other people might want.

2. Really Eh for us. Meaning it won't be bad, but they where only 500 Np each. Come on! 500Np each?! Cheaper then good old Kiosk in Caves!!! 2,000 Np for a possible retirement of early realse which meanings a profit down the long road? People...

And congrats on all who have the prizes. Those might be forfited now and we get new prizes from Desertcards or they'll be turned into something special for the holders of those items, and we'll still get a new set of items.

Again, always look on the brightside of things. Either way they take this, they only cost us 500Np, and many of us won things (Np/Items) from it if we didn't scratch them (such as it is in my case). :) :) :)

:I Didn't get my hands on one. I wonder if that's bad or good?

:o That's horrible, Morningstar -- if TNT found it necessary to change the original plushie into something else (instead of labeling the Advent Calendar one something like Pennyfarthing Number Six Plushie), they should have at least replaced the original with an equally rare plushie.

Maybe they could be lobbied to make it a Flaming Evil Coconut Plushie?

Interesting... I had one of those too that I actually won from BTU on my frozen account... :o

If you're familiar with chemistry...

I have written to them about it as have my fellow guild members. Hopefully, other plushie gallery owners have done the same. I suggested that they either make one of them a deluxe version (like they did with the blue uni and the balthazar plushie) or at least change the coconut into a coconut plushie. I plan on writing to the Neopian Times editorial about it. Maybe Donna can give me an answer.

Granted the coconut is still a limited edition item (so far), but the demand for a limited edition coconut can't be anything close to the demand for a limited edition plushie.

And, it is somewhat unnerving, because if they could do that to a limited edition plushie, they could do it to anything that is valuable.

I know that some people could give a hoot about a "useless" plushie, but they might feel differently if their sinsis sword or attack pea suddenly became a piece of "flaming evil" toast.

Hopefully, it is a simple mistake in coding that will get fixed once the holidays are over and the staff is back to regular hours.

Even though I have no luck with scratchcards (I have won once on a RtRSC once in 2 years - and that was the day the avatar was released - I think they made it easier to win for awhile), I thought the LDSC were cool.

So I do hope they bring them back. I don't know if it was a case of people finding the "secret" url or what. They were on the portal page for testing, then suddenly gone and people were posting the url for the kiosk all over the place. Maybe it was in transition and not completely ready for release. I will say that when it was in testing, the SC weren't 500 np, they were 750 np. Because of that, and my rotten luck with SC in general, I only bought a few - and won 500 np on one of them.
