50 Ways to Say I Love You

A long time ago, Paul came to me for help with a list about how to relive your childhood. We both sat down and thought of about 45 things to put on that list, and posted it up somewhere private for friends to see.

Recently Paul came back from a long backpacking trip and I remembered the list we had worked on so long ago, I asked for his help with this one and this is what we came up with. Hope you enjoy, and if you have any ideas for lists in the future, you know where to find me.

1. Show up unannounced at their work with flowers.

2. Pack their lunch with Post-It messages.

3. Mail a letter to them.

4. Even if you live in the same home.

5. Write cutesy messages in their favorite book.

6. Make a mix-tape of their favorite songs.

7. Use a cassette tape.

8. Frame their favorite picture.

9. Fill their shoes with confetti Xs & Os.

10. Surprise them with breakfast in bed.

11. Make them heart-shaped watermelon.

12. Picnic in the park.

13. Sit through a movie you hate.

14. Answer their calls no matter what time it is.

15. Bake their favorite cookies.

16. Scream "Geronimo!" from the top of the Empire State building.

17. Write "I love [their name]" on dollar bills.

18. Stuff the dollar bills in their jacket.

19. Write messages on the bathroom mirror.

20. Bring them soup when they're sick.

21. Lay underneath the stars with them.

22. Do impersonations when they're upset.

23. Even if they're bad.

24. Apologize when you're wrong.

25. Write an anonymous postcard and mail it to them.

26. Buy them flowers for no reason.

27. Listen even if they aren't making sense.

Paul has been involved with Pink Ink since 2005. Rumors of him actually being a vampire are greatly exaggerated, even though he recently came back from the dead.
