Kaimon

Wednesday Feb 23, 2005 3:45 pm. This was the time that would change my life forever. No longer would my uneventful life be the same. For this was the time I first heard about Kaimon.

A confused little thing I was, and I didn't know what in the world it could be. All I knew was that it sounded cool, and it must have been because Yukio had been the one to introduce it. Soon after, Yukio started to ask if people wanted invitations.

Of course, I asked for one as soon as I could. I waited for a little while, patiently, until I received my invitation to Kaimon. When it finally came, I wandered in, still unsuspecting of the things it held.

And what should first meet my gaze then a friendly (or not so friendly... that description still manages to confuse me) Monster needing befriending? There were two of them, but this one caught my eye immediately. And I had the perfect name for it, too. After some arguing with myself as to what to name the cute little thing, I finally decided to name it after someone in one of my Role Plays. It looked like that kind of Monster. And, that was when Rouska and I wandered first met, and wandered off into Kaimon.

First we did some exploring. Well, no. First I headed off to the Food Shop to get some food and drinks for Rouska. Then we did some exploring. First we wandered off into the Mushroom Mania shop, where quite a few different mushrooms greeted us. It was an interesting little place, but, we soon left because we had other places to go. Then we headed over the Books store. I wanted to get some, but, at the moment I had only a few Gold pieces left from feeding Rouska. So when Rouska had finished skimming over a few books, we left and wandered off once more.

And where should we arrive next but the park bench? We sat on it for a couple of minutes, to let our legs rest, but as there wasn't much we could do there at the moment we soon left once more. We wandered over to the Craft Shop. Rouska enjoyed herself far too much, however, and almost knocked over many of the items. So we left to avoid further complications.

We headed over to the nearby bridge and crossed it, pausing to look down at the water. Then we went to our next stop – Magical Goods. It was quite busy, and nothing was in stock. So after a few minutes of waiting, we left once more and headed on towards the Potions Shop to see what we could see. Strangely enough, this had nothing either. We did wait long enough to have a restock happen, but as mentioned before, I did not have enough Gold for it, even though during our traveling I had collected some.

Once more we crossed over the bridge, but this time our goal was to head over to Royalton, to see what we could see there. Soon after passing the sign, however, we neared a Swamp, where a voice whispered out to us. Quite spooked, we ran back to the Holy Well which we had passed a few moments before. To calm ourselves down, we tossed a few of our items down, to see what would happen, if anything. When nothing did, for that round, anyways, we continued on.

Once more the whispering greeted us as we neared the swamp. This time, though, we were expecting this to happen, and entered slowly. Farther in, a strange creature greeted us. We still don’t know quite what he is. He asked us if we could get some items for him, and we agreed to. He gave us a list, and, noting that they were all food items, we scrambled off once more. We collected the items we could from the Food Shop, and then went to the Users Shops to get the items that were not in stock at that time. We headed as soon as we could back to the swamp to give the creature the items he wanted. As a reward, he gave us some Gold and one of those Potions we had our eyes on earlier at the Potion Shop.

Now Rouska and I have continued even further in our quest of exploring Kaimon. We have completed many more of the creature's quests. We have finally been to Royalton, and have also found some sort of Graves... I have only visited there a couple of times, though, for I don't like that place very much. I also have a complete gallery of Apples, so Rouska and I are very happy. We are also very well off, no longer do we need to search for stray gold coins. Our living is made off of Quests, and the potions they give us. We occasionally throw those potions down the well... it seems that whenever we do, we find money on the ground!
