Battledome!

Thunder clashes and a cackle can be heard from within the depths of the Haunted Woods. Tis that time of year again, Halloween has arrived and the Battledome is just brimming with all that is foul and ill fated. But, we'll disregard that, since only the bravest Neopians dare enter the circle that marks the outcome of many a great battle. Pets fall and pets rise, whether upon a golden pedestal or within a pile of mud, we are all here to celebrate and battle for glory. For this issue of Pink Ink, to go with the already ghoulishly evil theme of our wonderful paper, we've decided that we are going to do a nice overlook of the Halloween-costume weapons.

The Brain Tree weapons have a very smart mix of elements, although heavy on the earth side, many intermediate battlers are quick to dismiss the weapons. There is much fact in this, since the Brain Tree Mace is the best Brain Tree weapon available, and at the price of 160k it may seem like a good idea, the weapon damage itself is fully blocked by most Battledome abilities that are readily available to the average battler.

If you're holding a Plastic Halloween Fork right now, please hide it behind your back or shove it into your shop. The Plastic Halloween Fork although once a rather good intermediate level defense item, because of the hard-to-block icons it produced. Has sadly (now that the price of the weapon has hit the 50k mark) became a bad investment. It's better to purchase a cheaper six icon weapon and spend the leftovers on a defensive weapon than attribute all NP's to the once great item.

BATTLER OF THE ISSUE

Yup, you read it correctly, my fellow battle frenzied-friends, this is the place where we showcase a Battledome player who has shown superb skills. For in every issue, a new battler will be chosen and showcased here. This week, the one and only SpiraLethe has been chosen Spiralethe is a great battler! Her pets are incredibly well rounded, which is surprising since more and more people are seeing lab pets enter the arena and come out on top, however, it is not so with this Battler of The Issue.
