I think there are a few places safe from REs, like the battle dome, I think the main page, terms and rules and about us pages are also safe...

Why anyone would want to visit the About Us and Main Page on a regular basis is a mystery to me.

Neither are lookups. I was checking out my own today when I got the "dragon" RE.

Maybe this is beyond me, but hiding from Random Events seems sort of silly to me since there's some wonderfully excellent ones out there. Sure, there's the bad ones, but you gotta take the bad with the good.

I don't think there's anywhere safe from Random Events, and I'm kinda glad for it. Yay for free paintbrushes and codestones!

Weeeelll I'm pretty sure pet pages are.. although I doubt that counts. XD

If you want to be safe from REs, just log off. Things will go a lot better on that front.

(it's likely that random events are handled in a common header include, which means you can't escape from them)

I've always just assumed that you can get REs on any page that has the yellow bar. So that excludes petpages, and the Neopian Times.

You can get random events from any place with the standard sidebar and header with it, you can't get it from flash games, or petpages

Can't get 'em from petpages, I've viewed a bunch of 'em and never got anything. You can get 'em on userlookups, though (I've gotten a faerie quest on a pet lookup and the Illusen one on my own userlookup).

You can get them form the main page if you are logged in. I found something on the floor ( i think it was food) once when I went to the site for the first time one morning. Didn't realize you could get RE's on the main page until then.
