I'm going to AnimeFest 2004!!! Kawaii Plushies and Manga galore!!! It's not until September, but OOOOOHHHHH I can't wait!!! :D
Is anyone else here going? Or is an anime fan?

actually my ex's little sister always goes to the anime festivels. shes very excited. she went to the last one in texas. she also dresses up. i totally love her. she knows everything about anime. we drove my ex nuts talking about it. but yeah, shes going and shes super excited.

*shivers* Cos-players are so wierd, especially the Star Trek ones...but anyway, thats cool if your into conventions and stuff. I always wanted to visit ComicCon but its never around these parts of course.

I went to AnimeNEXT in NJ and Otakon 2004 over the summer. Cons are fun though I don't dress up (though my boyfriend and I have talked about it just for fun). I go for the AMVs :)

I was really thinking hard about whether or not I should go this year. I worked there the past two years and can honestly say it's pretty cool. However, heh...I guess I'm debating because I'm not really as big of an anime fan as many people there are. I mean, if you asked me what my favorite anime is...yeah...you probably won't get much of a response. It's not because I don't like anime, but because I never really get the time to watch any of it to find out what I like. :roll:

We'll see though. I have a friend who wants me to go, so I wouldn't be surprised if I spent my Labor Day weekend there.

Either way though, you have a good time there. =)
