I am thrilled to announce that the Old Main Site is back!

Kym found the original files on a dusty old hard drive somewhere and has restored the Pink Poogle Toy main site back to it's old Glory!

I cannot express how much joy this has brought me today. This week has been soooo rough and having this level of nostalgia to go dive into has been beautiful. Especially digging into things like the old interviews/chats, etc. And pictures.

3 kids! What on earth! That's amazing Pickles! Have they been introduced to the wonderful world of Neopets? :-)

And hey.. asking for a set is still work! That's where my avatar and signature banner came from too!

All three of them have accounts and play! We even have in-house tournaments during the Altador Cup - who can score the most goals in 10 games, etc.

BLP (Big Little Pickles) has been asking for a side account, even. (Maybe when we finish the school year in a month we'll let him.) He has a variety of pets, but prefers anything spooky/creepy (Mutant/Darigan/Halloween, etc). MLP is 100% a Uni-lover (though she has decided if/when she gets a side account, it will be all Shoyrus, as she has two plush Shoyrus now from the blind boxes and has decided that Shoyrus are a good second to the Unis), and LLP is all in on Peophins (but thinks Kacheeks are a close second).

They do get mad about the fact that we restrict computer time to after school work is done and even then, they're limited to how long they have, though.

Wow.. talk about generations of Neopets players! Honestly the coolest thing ever. I imagine it must be a full circle moment for you to witness your kids discover Neopets the way you did? Do you think the experience is "the same"?

P.S., Frankly, I'm not surprised MLP is all about the Shoyrus.. my first Neopet was a Shoyru!

Not surprising, Shoyru Lover

My first pet was a Blue Lupe. He is still my favorite, but my Pink Poogle is also a fave. She's my Battle Pet and is active 99% of the time. She started out as a Blue Shoyru, but through various misadventures in the Lab, getting zapped for years... She shall remain a Pink Poogle

Ahh the secret lab.. which reminds me.. I should try that zappy thing again.. who knows what new weird and wonderful colours/species will result..

There's a new avatar for zapping a pet Snot...and one or zapping a petpet Alien. Both are new within the last 6 months or so. (No luck getting either here, yet, though.)
