I managed 1500 mighty wins againts Flint, but I am going to find it hard to even make 1000 against Lanie and Lillie, due to RL stuff happening that I hadn't factored in.

Awakened won.

We were too late to pull a win back. Stupid elitists! The pretended that they were with Brutes but were really with Awakened. Reading through their posts, it was only done to stop the 'bandwagon', to some how prove that only 'real' battlers can win.

Well, one guy done 13337 wins against Flint for Awakened. Who really can call themselves a real battler when all they are doing is spamming easy wins?

Upset? Yes! Sorry for ranting. I am so over this.

Battlers shmattlers. One of us should infiltrate their group next time; you and Pickles especially have strong enough pets. But seriously, even I can kill the bosses in 1 hit on mighty -- they're not really that hard. There's no strategy, just time wasting. And I have better things to do with my life. Plus, the BD has been making my computer run hot since the latest Flash update (which is weird since it's not Flash...).

Speaking of strong pets, I'm only 10 def and 14 str away from the 750 boost. I should get up to 120 light blessings (just from daily drops) right around the time I level up to 400, to try out reflection.

Ugh. What jerks. On top of congratulating themselves on the boards, they're also griping about how the boons have changed and all the ones they got were "useless". Serves them right.

They're taking Battle Elitism to a new jerky level. It's one thing to have cool battle pets and weapons, and be able to prove it in the hit point increase system, but it's another to just lord their extra time over everyone else and talk about how "cool" they are to have rigged the battling. I think they're purposefully making sure people don't get the missing avvies (in this case, they KNOW a lot of people still need Thieves). And spamming multiple easy hits really doesn't prove anything - other than that they have more time to waste on their hands.

TNT needs to bring back the HP increase soon. That'll keep them from being able to spam the scores as much. Then it'll be up to REAL battlers to score some good points.

Skirmish 9: Brutes, Sway, Seekers.

I have all of those.

The boons don't really give much so I am in no hurry to choose, so I am waiting to see what is happening on the BDC (if you can't beat 'em, join 'em).

ETA: The Sway do have the better boons out of the 3. But with TNT swapping the boons around, it is not known what boons we will get. I think I will choose Sway if I can't find anything out on BDC.

Daze, I'd rather join the "elite" arrogant poser battlers, too, especially since the boons seem to be random. I guess I should go on the BDC and see if I can entice one of them into spilling their secret. So I can then blab it to the world.

I'd kinda like to be on a winning team this time, too. If anyone does find out which team those "oh so special" battlers join, please let me know. The "poll" board on the BDC is almost equally split between Brutes and Sway at the moment.

If we don't find out, I'll probably join the Brutes, just to try and help Blue get the avvie. Plus my pet does have Brute stats, so... <shrugs>

Welp, so far I've utterly failed in my attempt to recruit (really, get recruited) -- I made a Neoboard post trying to recruit strong battlers to join forces for the skirmish, but the only reply has been myself.

ETA: I just got a cryptic neomail with a subject "A" and message "The group you are describing already exists" -- I neomailed back asking to join. We'll see...

Hmm, sounds promising Siniri. I have been trying to find off-site groups but none have popped up on my google searches.

Unfortunately, posts between 8/20 and 9/9 were lost

However, the site was down between 8/27 and 9/9, so we only lost a week in total. Not bad, considering what it was almost 3 months lost!!! Thanks Google Cache!
