My main just got frozen.. why? I haven't a clue. Apparently I "continued to break the rules after recieving a warning" but I never got any stinking warning!?
I was on the rp boards, started a rant topic like so many other rpers have done. We were discussing shapeshifting and the costs involved and how irritating it was that child services didn't seem to exist in rp land, so you ended up with all those kids raising themselves after mummy and daddy died... from the age of 7.

These are both subjects we've talked about before, both subjects that frequently come up.. so why now? why today freeze me for it? As far as i'm aware, it wasn't breaking any rules.. unless rant boards are suddenly against the rules. We weren't discussing real life, we were talking about ROLEPLAY so wth?

Anyway, i've sent a frozen account form but what else can I do? I don't hold much hope but that just serves to make me angrier. It seems to unfair that all those idiots who post boards like "there's a glowstick in my pants" don't get frozen but I do because I *gasp* made a rant board or possibly mentioned adoption in relation to character backstory.. OH NOES!

What else can I do aside from send a form? can I contact a real person or do I just have to wait and resend the form in a week if I don't get a reply?

I can see though TNT's sometimes twisted scope on their sniper rifle of freezing.

Adoption may be a sensitive subject on the neoboards. I've never been frozen, but I would try to email as many neo support staff as you can. Don't bug them, send them a mail every week or so.

It's idiotic, you can't mention anything that "gasp" might happen in real life.. so how are we meant to rp anything? in fact, you can't mention anything at all ever for fear.

Emily replied with a standard email so i've emailed her back asking for clarification, I don't expect to get my account back at all.. which is sad.. i'll miss Ali_dar, Biannamossum and Mizmean.. i'll have to create a new account and make a new mutant Ruki.
But at the very least, this might if I keep at it, cause the staff to clarify their rules and put them in one simple easy to read and locate place instead of hiding them scattered across the site.
We'll see.

I hear you on the scattered rules. PPT's been trying to create an organized set of rules with the Ultimate Neopets FAQ. It's not utterly complete, but it does have a lot of the common questions people have about Neopets rules (including this).

TNT doesn't publicize it even nearly enough, but all roleplaying on the site is supposed to be entirely Neopets-related. It's discussed a bit more in this editorial. If you don't want to play by TNT's rules, there are other places to roleplay where you won't run the risk of getting frozen next time.

TNT is way to harsh on us. we just wanna have fun and they are about as fun as day old oatmeal... ive gotten reported twice for "dating on neopets" which is totally out of the ballpark for me considering im playing games half the time! but heres my plan.....
