There was an article on PPT (Or I think it was PPT) that was an interveiw with Snowflake about things that are/are not acceptable material for the neopian times.

Does anyone know the link to this?

No I don't, sorry.

What I do know is that I wrote to the support staff asking if a story could still be accepted to the NT if it included death, a relentless storyline attack of the Neopets legal system, and the attempted assasination of a prominent Team member.

The guy wrote me back saying he wasn't sure and wished me luck getting accepted.

yeah, i'd like to write some kind of story like that, but i dont think it would be accepted

also, i wrote an article of about 500 words, i dont think it will be accepted right?

Naniwai! Hi there :)

I sent in an article a long time ago about people trying to sell np, items and even accounts on ebay. A few friends of mine proofread it, it was over 1000 words, and everyone who read it said it was pretty good and had some useful information.

Needless to say, I never even got a rejection slip :P I think they have a circular file for articles/editorial questions like that.

I sent one of those "How to make NP" articles in. Unoriginal, yes. But all the people who read it said it really helped.
I haven't even got a rejection/acceptance mail after 2 months :(

For some reason, they didn't like it.

In the automated response form they sent back some suggestions like make sure its grammatically correct, check spelling and make sure its a certain length. They also said it would be helpful if it had html tags.

Well, everything was all good so I sent it in with html tags, but they said no again... can't imagine why. :D [/url]

lol, I just can't imagine why that wouldn't get into the Neopian Times. ;) Very well written I might add. :)
