Isn't it because the original game was based on werewolves vs. villagers? At least, that's what I've always thought...

I thought the original game was mafia...at least that's what I've played in real life that is pretty much the same.

I think it's WW just for simplification: WereWolf

And we still need 5 players or so! Randomness isn't a scary place...it's a lot of the same people from here! Come and play with us! I'll give free cookies!
