here's me reciting the first stanza of The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe but I'm whispering...so you'll have to turn everything up to 100, in winamp or whatever media player you use.

While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.

I live in Virginia, not far from you but I rarely hear the southern accent. I've been told there is a Virginian accent but I'm not sure what the heck that really is, maybe because I'm used to hearing it. You have a really nice singing voice Chass

Sorry for being such a technology-challenged person again, but how do I save any .wav files I make and post them here? Anyone patient enough to tell me step-by-step is awesome.

Make sure your mic is plugged and working. Go to your sound recorder under accessories. Press record, talk/sing/make noises, press stop. File, save as _______. Then upload it. If you have a Yahoo account, just use Geocities as your host, unless you have a better one.

Maybe one of these days I'll make a sound file, but I tend to sound like a complete moron when recording.
