What layout do you think is better:
1. http://www.webjunky.us
or
2. http://www.webjunky.us/motivation/

Please tell me what you like/dislike about both of them.

(number 2 is best views in Mozilla Firefox 0.9 becuase IE screws with the color (a little))

hmm well its not bad, i think you could have done more with it though, it kinda of seems plain you know? alos maybe incorperate more then one color, otherwise its good, lol sept i get dizzy on the mouse over because the word s liek fall down one pixel lol its all good

I agree. #2 is kinda plain. Also, design for people using different resolutions.

I like #2's colouring. I think if you made your layout more resolution friendly and put #2's colouring on layout #1 it would look really good.
My opinion though :D

I like the simplicity here. And like what others say, you could introduce more matching colours into your layouts.

As for the matching colors, i used color schemer so unless thats wrong, the colors match.....
