I'm feeling "ugh" today. Pickles passed her migraine on to me :(

Awww, I'm sorry. :(

I'm kinda blah. I'd much rather not be at work today, but I'm here. Ah well. 2.5 days left! :D

ETA: Amused. I just went to Google Maps and looked up the street address of my new job. I zoomed out one click from the default zoom, shifted my work location to the bottom right hand corner, and could see my house in the top left hand corner. I am SO totally looking forward to being THAT CLOSE to home during the day. :D

And my optimism was merited! I got an A on the last paper I turned in--first one the prof's given out for a first draft all semester. Now I'm just getting obnoxious and cocky. I must hide this from my classmates, so I'm going to annoy the internet!

Who da philosopher? I da philosopher! (Well, depending on whether I exist and what you mean by 'philosopher'. I brag, therefore I am?)

Yes, but isn't it loud living next to all the space shuttles and whatnot at NotNASA? (I'm still having trouble getting over how excited I am for you.)

Woo! Congrats! That's a great way to start finals!

Loud? Nah. The actual shuttles aren't at NASA (at least, not as a whole). Now, the training mock-ups are hidden inside various buildings...

What's loud is the AFB that's not far off in the other direction. And the train tracks that are close to my house. Seems like there's always a train going by at about 1 am.

I still can't believe I've only got 2 days left at this job! One of my coworkers keeps giving me dirty looks and making snarky remarks about it. Good for him. I've just laughed. After all, in 2 days, it won't matter to me anymore! Whee!

Worried that Pickles may have revealed too many government secrets and the men in suits will be at my door soon.
But excited, because my friends are awesome people who are finding ways to improve their lives.

Nah, you can see a lot of the mock-ups on the tours from Space Center Houston. You've got nothing to worry about. I can appeal to TOSO to confirm that, seeing as he's probably been on said tour as well. Although it's much less impressive to see the mock-ups from the cat-walk than it is from the ground. Shame I probably won't be in that building at my new job though.

Sooooo ready to go home....

Glad exams are over. I'm so happy.

Happy because our marching band parade just got canceled because of the cruddy weather and also tired because final exams are starting soon and I am really nervous about Western Civ finals. My western civ teacher is really difficult and her tests are impossible.

A bit grumpy and tired. Stayed up a little late last night, and then this morning was a mess. Was a bit late to work 'cause of an accident on the feeder which was technically only blocking the left lane...but the firetruck, 4 police cars and 4 tow trucks felt it necessary to block the other feeder lane, sit in the median, AND take the right hand lane of the highway. Such intelligence at rush hour. Because truly, they needed to shut down 3 full lanes of traffic when only one was necessary. /sarcasm

And kinda worried about my husband. He stayed up all night last night working on stuff. I let him sleep in the car on the way in, but he's got a ton more stuff to finish by tomorrow. He gets his two take-home finals tomorrow in class, so I doubt things will get much better anytime soon. :(

I'm shocked.

If any of you write fan fiction on MNFF, contact me right now. You'll be surprised at what's happening.

Sleepyhappy. I've gotten...3ish hours of sleep in the past few days? I'd start to suspect I'm a vampire, but I don't appear to sparkle or dazzle or anything.

Pure awesomeness. Giddy, exhilarated...just generally happy and bouncy.
Of course, you would feel that way two if it was your last day at a job you've been trying to get out of for 11 months. :D

Ack, Now I'll have that song stuck in my head for the rest of the day. Oh well it's better than some of the Christmas carols that have been in there lately.
Anyways Yeah Pickles! Leaving a bad job for a hopefully much better one is good.
I'm feeling better though tired from working all week. I'm looking forward to the weekend except for needing to do major Christmas shopping.
