Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

lol...well, I'm 24, not 14 first of all.
I'm only JUST pregnant (at most 4 weeks), so we don't know the gender yet. If it's a boy, his name will be Jonathan Andrew, if it's a girl, it'll be Janet Florence.

Thanks for all the kind words!

Those are great names.
I wish you luck with your endeavours.

Wow, popping on to only check WW and GMC made me almost miss the good news!
Yeahh!!! <huggles Pink> Congrats!
(I don't care if others have said it.
) I'm really excited for you!
4 weeks...so...Julyish? And I agree with Stu, those *are* great names!

Baby!!!! Congrats to you both, regardless of how many people have said it before now. And I agree, the names are wonderful.
And because I just spent all day with a pregnant woman hearing her stories I feel like I should leave you with these words:
I wish you have a nice and easy pregnancy with limited strange cravings at odd hours.

I've already been craving over-medium eggs like crazy! lol. And, strangely enough, the thought or sight of fried food makes me want to hurl. It's strange because I LOVE fried food...especially McDonald's. lol. Thanks again for all the congratulations!

Congratulations, Pink! Those are very lovely names you've picked out (and not too strange either--I've come across some babies with cringe-inducing names lately).

Fried food is very hard on the stomach to digest, so this may be instinctive. May I suggest crackers?
*goes into PT mode*
- Please take a lot of folate (dark green veg; enriched OJ; supplements) so the baby's brain and nerves develop healthily.
- Stay away from excess heat- specially in the first 3 months.
- Get enough rest.
- Indulge in moderate physical activity (walking is good).
- Avoid heavy lifting and jarring movements; pregnancy makes the body's ligaments loosen (they're limbering up for the birth), which increases your risk of getting injuries like sprains and dislocations.
- Get lots of fluids, and eat small meals often.
*end of PT mode*
That being said, congratulations on the baby.

Thanks! I'm taking a prenatal vitamin and a DHA/EPA supplement for the baby (Women's One-A-Day Prenatal) and I'm craving veggies and grilled meat, so you can count on me following your advice.

Woohoo, awesome news Pink! I'm so happy for you

Lucky thing that you at least have healthy cravings right now, hehehe. And the not wanted fried food thing isn't too weird...when my mom was pregnant with my bro, she could barely stand the stuff for most of her pregnancy.
I would also like to pint out it's amazing you already have names picked out. I've known people that agonize over it for *months*...so kudos!

Well done

Wow Pink this is indeed incredible news!! Congraulations!!
Maybe you can name your baby "Poogle" and then maybe the next one after that "Toy"... then you'd have "Pink" "Poogle" "Toy".
Is it going to be a girl or a guy and have you thought of names?

lol...already covered this, but I don't mind doing it again. This is one topic I don't get tired of.

We don't know yet if it's a boy or girl...won't know until we hit 20 weeks (we're at most at 4 right now).
If it's a boy, his name will be Jonathan Andrew (or Christopher Lewis...haven't decided yet) and if it's a girl, her name will me Janet Florence (Janet for my Dad's mom, Florence for my Mom's mom...and it's my middle name).
Thanks again for all the congrats! I don't think I'll be going for Poogle or Toy though

But that can be your little nickname for her/him.
"Aren't you cute, little Poogle!"
