Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

The odds are incredibly low, given that (as a rough estimate) an average intelligent population lasts 1,000,000,000 years, that any two intelligent species will ever meet. And 1 billion years is probably an overestimate for how long Earth will last.
So while we're probably neither the first nor the last intelligent species, and there are probably others right now, we will probably never meet them.

Conversely, I'll believe until the answer is proven to be, definitively, "no." Just all in the way you look at it, I guess.

I've had too many things happen for them to be purely coincidental, so I believe in paranormal/ghosts. As for aliens...I think, statistically, there has to be "something" out there, even if it is as small as a single cell.
exactly and in any form of single cells may there be some on earth? maybe. but also you can think of this: may those single cells be the cause of paranormal creatures as forming a picture. a moving pictures, or message? i personally believe all of it is connected.

the others you speak of, so of course there has to be something. we may never meet but that has to be something. never meet face to face, eye to eye, space ship to oscar mayer weiner car, but still we have so many signs.

I believe there's something paranormal out there...is it ghosts or aliens or both? I don't know, but there is definitely something.

A thousand million years is a bit of an overestimate for how long an average species lasts, let alone civilisation.
But no, we won't and if we did, do you seriously want to?
Look around you, what is the one thing the dominant species of earth have in common?
Aggressive xenophobia.

Poor choice of words

Well, I was going to vote for "opposable thumbs", but I guess I was wrong.

*Looks at certain insectoid species that can be classed as dominant depending upon your definition*
Not so much.

Well, I consider myself the dominant species if I get to have go-karts and minimalls and ice cream and I get to step all over the "certain insectoid species" and dump poison all over them whenever I feel like it.
Feels good.

No to all of the above, and that's all I have to say on the subject.

I figure there are too many stories and people who have had experiences with them or whatever for there not to be some truth to it, you know? Not saying I believe everything I've heard, but I don't think that all of the people who've seen stuff could be lying or crazy. I've never had any sort of experience, but I wouldn't rule it out.
Course, this is the exact opposite of what I tell myself when watching horror movies and while I am in dark, eerie places. I'd give myself a heart attack.
I think alien abductions are a little far-fetched, though.
