I remember this awesome book about two hippos hiding in the forest after a picnic. Everyday, my mom would have to read them to me or I would cut the telephone line again.
I also liked a book called
Pumpkin Soup, about a duck, a cat and a squirrel that all realize that they can't make the perfect pumpkin soup unless they're together

Oh man! I LOVED "Lily's purple plastic purse" (about a little white mouse who had an amazing purse to share) I used to make my dad read it to me almost 30 times.
"Angelina ballerina" (a mouse who loved ballet), and "Chrysanthemum" (a little mouse who was teased because of her unique name)
Another favorite was "If you give a mouse a cookie" eeeee I loved that one

hmm.. I guess i'm really into mice.

Anything and everything Eric Carl, the Very Hungry Caterpilar anyone?
Or the very quiet Cricket?
I always loved how the books interacted with you, the ending of the cricket one had the little chirping soundbox(that was always broken in stores. So you'd here chirping 3 ailse away) and the ending of the firefly onehad all the blinking LEDs.
And the Franklin the Turtle books, And the Froggy book were he kept forgting his clothes( I forgot the tittle), Barenstein Bears, Land of the Gaint pets (I think that's the tittle, I just remember that was what it was about), Chika-chika-boom-boom!
Abuela, Sam's potty (hush!), Peter Rabbit, Is your mama a lamma? (actualy, my copy is in Spanish.), Where the Wild things Are(I'm wereing a shirt with the characters on it now!) and that's all I can remember right now.
My Mom taught pre-school so, yes, I have a lot of children's books. My mom will try to read the pop-up childrens books outloud to us in bookstores.
