Aww, benladesh. You're an awesome guy and I gotta respect your decison to leave. It's been a blast getting to know you. Hopefully our paths will cross again sometime in the future.

Wow im not doing that again i will not spend another 2 years of my like to get 4k posts...What kept me coming to ppt was the people in the godly and beyond godly board. We had all become really good friends. I guess i lost it all. We stayed friends through that board. Guess ive lost so much. I dont think ill be staying at ppt i dont want to waste my life posting just to get into a special board where i can post and have fun with my friends. they probably wont make it there in a long time either. Ive had a blast with you guys at ppt but i guess that i just cant do it anymore.

You're just leaving because there's no BG board? That's a crap reason. There was a lot more on PPT then BG. What about all your friends? The oldies? I think you should stay. Post counts don't really matter, it's the quality of your posts and if you just keep your quality, you'll be back to 4k in no time. It took me a year and a half to get up to 3k posts because I take my time posting and making sure they're quality posts. I really think you should stay. Leaving because there's no bg board is not an excuse.
You really should stay...

I'm still here....
I miss the BG boards and a lot of people as well Mr. Goldfish. You're right, things aren't the same.. but I'm holding on.... coming back and lurking every once and a while to see what's happened... even when you think I'm not here, I am.

I was briefly a BG with between 2530 and 2550 posts when PPT's old database went down on Thursday May 13th 2004 and I noticed PPT was down between 8.00am - 8.30am NST(ironic that would go down the 13th?) forced to go to IDB Forum waiting for update on Miscellaneous General Chat hopeing PPT old database would be put back up.
But we got a new database and PPT was back(That's the important thing) and is better than before with the exception of the red bean bag logo as IMO I prefer the PPT Staff logo. But each to their own opinion.
Anyway I am still here and I remember you so and we Really Don't Want You To Leave. But in the end it you are the one who decides on whether you want to stay with us or not and we can't force to stay if you don't want to.

I agree, the number of active members have majorly decreased, and I do miss my 1,100 posts, I was really active and helpfull, and I never spammed (Yes its true), of course now I don't spam anymore...
anyway back on topic, post counts don't matter, its if your having fun, being active, and making friends, its much much more than how many posts you have, PPT is about exactly what it says next to the beanbag, friends , family, intelligent discussion, and just the right mix of people, and best of all, the best place to be, PPT is meant to be fun, so lets keep it that way, don't leave just because of the post count, stay, and enjoy yourself! I guess this is bye.

Sunnie's here, Amber is (hi!!!), and Tasha's back (sort of). CP's here (he's now Link), and quite a few other people from our 'group' are still members. Some have left, true. Niten and Punky have both disappeared, unfortunately. But quite a few of us remain.
No, things will probably not ever be the same. But that's life. You move on. I've been here for a year and a half, Max. Few of my old PPT friends are still here. But I've made new friends, and in some cases, better ones.
