Um... I was in the newspaper several times for math competitions and awards.
I met Ron Roy once (some kid's author).
I was in a three week special thing that followed teens around and saw what life was really like.
I was an Oscar-Mayer kid. :P Oh, I wish I was an Oscar Mayer Weiner. :P
All I remember is the weinermobile, that's all. I was like 4.

Hahaha! I just got a scary thought.. I imagined a little o_0 smiley on the Weinermoblile.

Sorry, I'm on the verge of becoming delirious.

you were an Oscar Meyer kid?! That's very cool.

Hmmm, I was on local TV when I was I think 16, Dr. Shock - it was this afternoon show that showed horror/sci-fi movies.

Been in the local paper a couple of times when I was younger for a local Halloween costume competition and won.

And I was in the news for a local restaurant, The Middle East, had a "human interest" story done, I was the dancer that day.

That's it ... my little "claims" to *cough* fame :P

I'm sorry to bump up a topic this old, but I love bragging about being on TV.

I was interviewed when my teacher was up for an award and they aired it on the Shaw TV channel, and in the same year I auditioned for a game show (Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader) and I was on 2 Shaw commercials with my mom from the footage that was shot. In school for the next two weeks I had people all over the school coming up to me and saying "I saw you on TV last night!" It was fun. The commercials still airs sometimes I think.

Shaw loves me. And I think I was wearing an MTS shirt in one of the commercials, my dad works for MTS.

(MTS and Shaw are the two big phone/internet/TV companies here)

Did you audition as one of the potential 5th graders? Or was it a contestant role?

I love being on TV. I'm actually thinking of going into the movie industry, maybe. If I can't be a vet.

I've been in the newspaper plenty of times, on the local news a few times due to my sporting prowess and leads in plenty of shows locally.

Most of the time I get famous because of sports though.......

I was just on television today for a news report.

Our local bus services have gone on strike and they filmed a bunch of us at our university waiting for the other type of local bus services. They also filmed me walking onto the bus and showing my pass to the driver.

And my shoes got its own screen as the cameramen crept down to show everyone's shoes stepping onto the bus.

Pretty neat! Except for the long wait.

I was on the front page of our local newspaper. But I wasn't that excited because I was in my uuuug-ly marching band uniform. Other than that, I was on a parade float when I was one.
