You can use anything and everything available as resources. Pretty much the only thing you CAN'T do is contact other teams during the challenges that I split everyone up. But I will let you know before each challenge wether you're all on the same team or different teams, so it shouldn't be an issue.
The Yahoo group, since all challenges are done on the live chat. However, you'll usually need to be on PPT at the same time anyway, since I'll post most of the pictures needed for the challenges here.
Okay, about 10 minutes to go before today's challenge. I hope everyone is able to make it.

I think I have a pretty good idea who the mole is. Seeing as this person was a major part in us LOSING the challenge. I'm not very good at puzzles I;m afraid I really don't see how we could have gotten it seeing how the word was fries. Seems a bit childish. Of course we guessed weed.

Whe could have guessed fries. Some one came up with it but some one changed it. I know it was the Mole. The mole is laughing at us now. I can feel it.

I have an idea of who the mole is, since we were SO close in there, then all of the sudden, a ton of other ideas came popping up, then someone kept insisting on other ideas... we'll see during the next quiz, I guess.

Well, the second challenge didn't go quite as well as the first. A lot more people showed up this time, for which I was extremely pleased. But perhaps it was this amount of people that made the challenge so difficult. 
A few people showed up late, but in my opnion I'd rather have people show up late than not at all. Only four people did not show up, so it was fairly packed. The challenge was explained: there was 5k in a safe, and the safe had a password-coded lock. The players needed to find the word and say it within 30 minutes in order to open the safe. Everything they needed to find that word was within the scrambled picture posted above. And the word they needed was scrambled in its original form, i.e. if the word was dawn, its original form was wand.
The players were fairly quick in figuring out that the picture was the Pteri Egg Wand. And about 3 minutes in they found the small 3 that was put on the fourth picture of the scrambled Pteri Egg Wand. The rest of the time was spent trying to figure out what the 3 pointed to. Their first guess was obvious, taking the third word of the Pteri Egg Wand and scrambling it to get Dawn. Since it was incorrect, they used one of the three guesses allowed.The second word guessed was negg, but since it was incorrect, they used up the second guess. At one point the correct word was suggested, but sadly the players missed the importance of it. Finally, as the last 30 seconds ticked down, the word weed was guessed. That, too was incorrect, so the players failed this challenge and no money was added to the pot.
The correct word had been fries, which was a scramble of the third word in the Pteri Egg Wand description, which was fires.
I'd like to remind the players, that my goal is to prevent you from winning each challenge, and that every challenge is going to be harder than the last.
Was the Mole there? Was the Mole working for or against the team this time? Who can say?
The next challenge will not be until Monday, as I and some of the players have a very busy weekend, but the time for the challenge will be put up tomorrow, as well as the next quiz.
r4che1 has suggested that I add the players yahoo group names to their bios, so everyone can have a ready list of names during the challenges. If anyone wants their yahoo group name to be put up, please PM me and I'll add it.
Oh, one last thing: I have some surprises in store for the game, so if you lose a challenge don't assume that it's your only chance to win money before the next execution.

I REALLY love the idea of putting the Yahoo names in the Bios. I am marginally remembering who is who as it is! 
BTW, I think this whole game is extremely well done! The challenges are terrific, (even if we didn't get this one!). Amarise, I can tell you spent a goodly amount of time and planning on this and I just wanted to say "You did good!"

I would be surprised if anyone had gotten that one. That three could be taken any number of ways. I hope the next challenge is different.

Gee, thanx. I think I cared for 1lewysgal appraisel a little more.
You're entitled to your opinion, of course, but I DO intend for the next one to be a little more straightforward. It will be a whole different theme, though, so the confusion will be of a different style.... *ominous laugh* I intend to change things around a little, but it will be a while before that happens.

I'm soo sorry I wasn't able to attend this comp..My grandpa wouldn't let me go on the net all day (he was expecting faxes..nyah..) and I couldn't come on untill now, but by the sounds of it I couldn't have participated anyways..stupid chat *grumbles*
