I, Lord Rhinestone Cowboy III, puppy-slap at you with my spear of ingenuity. Mischief and mayhem ensues.

Darin looked at the balls of energy and laughed, "I could get a ball of dirt and name it Dirty, but that wouldn't make much sense," he looked around, "So uh, what kind of gaurdians are we talking about? Undead zombies that will eat your flesh and drink your blood? Or a stone statue that comes alive and tries to cut our heads off? Or..."
Yelgan barked, a sound that echoed down the passage.
"Sorry Yelgan, I got carried away," Darin said sheepishly.

Shane laughed as Iaran was naming her arrows. He looked at his ball, and the darker it got, he could feel it getting more powerful. He also felt himself getting more power. "hey! those would be cool demons!" Shane said to Darin.

"I think I like Lectric the way he is. Shocking, but not so much he scares me." Kaila said. Then she stopped, and slowly raised Lectric, as if to see better.
"Darin... is that the answer to your question?"
(I now promote Ria/Iaran to secondary GC. Even though she already was, it is now official! You get to decide what the Guardians are!)
Thu Sep 02, 2004 7:21 am
((Oooo, I was promoted! Hmm, but now I gotta think of what the guardians are/guardian is. I was thinking a big winged demon, that was made of stone and the energy from the pyschii (so it glows slightly pink), it would also have a ruby crown. Oh, and one of the really big creatures/guardians we shall have to face eventually should be the eagle that is the symbol of the Pyschii.....))
Iaran kept walking, noticing that the lower she walked, the stronger the powers of the Pyschii grew around her. "I don't really know what the guardian is, thankfully I've never seen it. I do believe it is something like a giant stone creature. Hopefully, our current powers will be strong enough to stop it, if not forever, then for a little while."
Thu Sep 02, 2004 9:05 pm
(Anything you want! This is your Stone we're going after, remember?)
"Umm... Iaran. I don't think your looking very hard because it's coming after us..." Kaila said, flinching back. She almost lost control of Lectric, and for a slight moment it zoomed up out of her hands. Taking a deep breath, she called the Lightning ball back to her.
Sat Sep 04, 2004 6:25 am
Iaran gasped as a small dark creature emerged from the flight above where she was. ((The tomb is like a tower, with floors branching off from the staircase. We're just walking down to the bottom.))
However, she quickly let out a sigh of relief, when she realised this was merely a Shadow Ghoul, and not the great guardian of the tomb. Holding up her hands, she locked its skeletal joints together preventing it from moving. "Don't worry, it's not the guardian. Only a Shadow Ghoul. Just throw a ball of electricity at it, and it should shatter. I'll hold it while you do that."
Sat Sep 04, 2004 10:42 am
((I'm back.. *realises that she's missed two or three pages* Hey, how come nobody looked after my char?? *fumes* And wasn't this the Light stone we're getting now?

))
Laruna slowed down as they descended deeper into the ancient tomb. She began to feel decidedly insecure with so much darkness around her, in such an unknown place...her fingers automatically created a ball of light in front of her, which she bounced playfully from one hand to the other. Instantly she breathed a sigh of relief.
Sat Sep 04, 2004 3:19 pm
(Oh, I am soo sorry! Your character didn't really miss much, we're pretty much in the beginning of the tomb? right now. And Ria and I worked out a list of the Stones, their locations anyways. We're going after the Psychic stone right now.)
Kaila nodded, and created another ball of lightning. She raised it, and then, as if determining the distance and height of the Shadow Ghoul. "Are you sure this will work?" she mumbled before throwing the ball at it.
Mon Sep 06, 2004 9:07 am
The ball of lightning flew towards the Ghoul, and Iaran watched as it exploded, the dusts from its remains settling on the cold floor. "Yep, I'm positive."
Smirking, Iaran continued her way down, going deeper into the tomb. They were nearly at the bottom...
Mon Sep 06, 2004 4:03 pm
"So, Iaran..." Laruna's voice sounded strange in the deep quiet of the dark. "...do you know anything else about this 'guardian', and how we're going to defeat it? And about the location of the stone?" She was already beginning to feel worried about the whole journey. Her head was still hurting a little from the night before, but she managed to ignore it, drawing all of her concentration of keeping the small ball of light she was holding lit.
Wed Sep 08, 2004 10:22 am
Iaran shook her head, "No, not really. Once I get the Psychic stone I should be able to sense where the other stones are though. To defeat the guardian, we should all probably join hands and you should all concentrate on creating a ball of energy with your elemental power. I should be able to hold the guardian, and then send your balls of energy into it.... or something like that."

"What?" Darin turned away from the group and looked back up the stair way, "What's that mama?" he stood there silent for a moment, "Go back? Whaddaya mean go back?" he listened some more, "But Iaran says it's not that strong, besides we're under ground, I can drop a rock on it and crush it." This time instead of silence there was a deep rumbling from all around them, the earth vibrated ever so slightly, not with the force of the earth quake, but with enough movement to get their attention, "Okay, okay, I'll tell them." He turned back to the group.
Yelgan barked and gave a questioning whine.
"Guy's, mom says we should go back," Darin said in the tone of a kid who has just been called inside from the playground, "She says that something has been feeding the power of the gaurdian and he's grown much stronger now. The only thing that keeps him down there is this tomb, I think she said it's magic or something. Anyways, she says she... wait, she said 'I fear for your lives, if you face the Gaurdian you will be in grave danger'" He looked up at Iaran and shrugged, "She's usually right about these things, but I don't think we have any other choices."
Wed Sep 08, 2004 11:21 pm
Kaila paused before answering. "I think that we should continue. She is probably right, but we need the stone. Iaran, am I right?" She turned to Iaran.
"Were there any weaknesses before? It is possible that it still has them."
Thu Sep 09, 2004 8:45 am
Iaran stopped and frowned in confusion. "I...don't really know much about the guardian. However there is really nowhere else to go, so there is no point in turning back. We can always run if it is to strong for us."
Continuing down the staircase, Iaran felt a strong wave of energy flow up from below, she shivered in fear. "We're really close now. It is only two floors below us. Get ready to face it."
