Beware of the spammer...

#1 Post by jessiedragon101 »

I know most of you may recognize it when you see it, but if you don't know how to react, let me give you some tips!

There's a user that just signed up today, the 6th of November and their username is Neopet22. They welcome you to neopets and the ppt forum, which is all well and good. But then they tell you that you are capable of freezing other users, procuring items out of nowhere and that the only thing you can't do is create neopoints. They give you two links, one to a youtube video to watch how they do it and one to a neoadmin site that doesn't require you to have a birthday. Don't click on the link that isn't for youtube, especially if you haven't deleted your browsing history and your cookies and whatnot. They will be able to grab your neopets log in and pass word and you're going to be sorry. Just trying to look out for you!

Soo thats why my neopet was stolen. Well atleast everything id sade now. I wonder why my bank account wasn't touched. I really should not have clicked on the link.

Oh well. My stolen pets name is called Stumander. I have new pet called Stuart_mander. Thank you posting this. I don't think that pet will come back to me though. How do I know its mine well. Stuart Mander is my real name hehe.

Edit. There was a user on here that posted that neoadmin site. So I belive that he is creating multiple accounts here.

I looked up your pet here: http://www.neopets.com/pound/adopt.phtml?search=StuMander, apparently it's in the pound if you want to find it and adopt it.

I'm just glad I could help out and I'm really glad you got help in finding your pet. That is so awesome, at least he's not lost forever! I lost my jessiedragon account to someone like this and now they're going around posing as me... So I made a new account jessiedragon101
