Chomby day

Has anyone adopted a chomby yet? I wanted to adopt a LE pet because of the poll I conducted earlier. If you have any news regarding chombies, please post here to notify others. Thanks!

I'm helping my niece try for a Chomby today, too. I've been refreshing for a couple of hours, and haven't seen any yet.

My friend got a Chomby. At least, I think she did. She labs and adopts, she usually only has one pet, but today she had two, and one was a Chomby. She could've adopted and zapped, though. Are L.E.'s available through zaps...?

They definately are. My lab pet was a Jetsam for a little while, then a Chomby for exacly 4 days before turning into a Gnorbu.

This is why I don't bother with limited edition pets. We've been refreshing steadily for the last 6 hours or so, and not a sign of a Chomby. All she's talked about for the last couple of months is getting a Chomby on Chomby day.

Wow, really? That's really weird. I suppose timezones make a difference, too, because some people would end up being asleep/at work/at school when things are released.

I can't see the Neoboards on her account - has anyone mentioned getting a Chomby today? Maybe they're not releasing them?

Just wanted to say that if she had a Chomby, it was definitely through means other than adoption seeing as the pound is still down.

It is Sunday, and I have yet to see a Chomby be released. According to the boards, they may not be released at all or they may be released a couple days late.

I remember waiting for multiple years for them to release Chombies, and it never happening. I eventually had to go to that site "The Neopian Orphanage" to find one up for adoption. :/ That was pre-pound-explosion though.

Only semi-related, but how come they used to give free training for the whole weekend when pet days fell on one, and now they don't?

Got a really weird dream last night about me adopting a chomby even though I know chombies will not be released. Oh well. I just have to wait until the next LE pet day in order to adopt another LE pet.

You could always get a Transmogrification Potion or Morphing Potion if you have a pet already and you'd like to change them. I adopted a Lenny and then used a Cybunny Transmogrification Potion on her to change her into a Cybunny.
