Heh.. surprised no one put this up.. but if they have, i am sorry, i only looked at the first page. Its a good book. I cant tell you the author because i lent it to a friend after i put a note in it earlier today. It was good, but the begining was kinda boring.

Hmm, I thought I replied to this. o_O

Anyways, I read it, and I thought it was great. At my university (UTA), all freshmen are given this book free, and we read it and we discuss it in some of our classes. It's supposed to encourage conversation between freshmen. We're actually not required, but it's beneficial.

I was amazed at how much detail was put into this book. Some parts surprised me (which I'm not going to say because it'll give the book away and they're not entirely appropriate), but it was still a fantastic book. It showed me a different side of Afghanistan, because nowadays all we see are the Taliban and buildings that have been reduced to rubble by explosions.
