Inruns Set Contest (Judged & Winners announced!)

For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

Inruns Set Contest (Judged & Winners announced!)

#1 Post by ahoteinrun »

Well, it's about that time again.
I'm too lazy to make a set.

That and I can't seem to make anything I like.

And here are the winners!

1st place winner

Scholastic

50 k on neopets; or a tribal drawing of anything of their choice by me

2nd place winner

Spira Lethe!

20 k on neopets or some sort of lesser drawing (or thusly, lesser tribal drawing with less complexity if you may so choose)

3rd place winner

Sweet Pea!

Image10 k neopoints

Thankyou SO MUCH to everyone who entered! I really liked every set that was entered, so these were just... awesome! Congrats to all the winners and I will be contacting you about your prizes! And again, thankyou so much!
Everyone who entered was so truly awesome, and I liked every single set. Considering i'm more of a cut/paste graphic artist, this was really awesome and I bow to your abilities.
Thankyou.

So, I've decided to enter your set contest. As I know you want an Original Guado.

Enjoy this piece of living art:

You've even got a cape. And you're flying.

At first I thought that was two random animals attacking each other, and that the cape was blood... personally, I think Inrun would enjoy that scenario more than the whole flying thing, but hey, that's cool, too.

I'll enter. Eventually.

I was wondering what your tribal drawings looked like, but I figured I should check out the PPT Gallery first. And yay, I saw some of your animal drawings... cool. ^^

Lots of animal themes you got there. Fun Fun n_n

-EDIT- Hehee, I'm looking thru past pages of the Gallery forum to see your tribal animals...but can you list which animals you have done?

Do you only do animals?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think all the one's she's posted in the gallery are:

Bull, Rhino, Saiga Antelope, Chicken, Giraffe, Elk...and I'm sure there are others from way back when (I remember seeing more, I swear...) that have been deleted off my hard drive. x_x

No, I can do other things, but not really in that style. Animals just translate well to it. If you do win and don't want a tribal, feel free to ask something else. But I figured people would like to do it for the tribals, if not; thats ok.
Tribals take longer then most other drawings I do anyways. Bah.

And i've done...

Sea lion, Lion, Wolf (x 3), lynx, polar bear, grizzly bear, harbour seal, fox, maned wolf, clydesdale, arabian, various horses, bull, buffallo, saiga antelope, giraffe, chicken, a few frogs. *shrugs* Some were never scanned due to them being private sales.

I should be sleeping, but I put that off because I felt inspired to get back into set making. Hopefully, I haven't forgotten everything.

I'm afraid mine doesn't really compare to the standard of the others, but I tried.
